Yup, heard about that + we resigned Bertrand for another 4 years. To be honest though, with the exception of Josh last season, we've been utter tripe in the handling of our Youth academy + trying to blood first XI players. Lately with Abramovich's expectations, the managers we're hiring don't have the balls to play through our Youth or even 'fringe' players (ie. Sturridge) - hopefully this changes under AVB. I believe he is pro-youth? Sucks we loaned out Bruma though for a season loan at Hamburg, will probably benefit him more anyway rather than him staying.

Yeah. What I dislike about Ancelotti was the fact he never trusted the younger players enough to do job ESPECIALLY when we were in that horrible 'bad moment' last November-December period!

I think and hope Villas Boas will be utilizing them more in this upcoming season especially in those Carling Cup games etc.

Javier Pastore is no where astronomically near his so-called 50 million 'valuation'. Ludacris since Zamparini has already conceded his departure, no need to. Yet apparently someone has bid 45 million for him. Wouldn't want him anywhere near Chelsea or AC Milan. Hopefully its City.

Most overrated player, I rate him alongside Robinho.

Lukaku is probably one for the future and AVB may just be sending Sturridge out on loan rather than actually selling him. I do hope we keep him and we should be looking to sell both Anelka and Kalou!

With all the transfers rumours and possibilities of getting this player, that player and end up with none, I have reached the stage where anyone we get that can improve our squad in anyway will make me happy!

Looking at Chelsea squad im a bit confused as to what players they need to buy.

I would say get rid of Mikel, a buy another proper defensive mid-fielder to back-up Essein like Tiote, M Diarra, M Sissoko.

Probably another right-back since Bosingwa blows hot and cold alot.

A dynamic pacy winger or two since im not too sure about Kalou and Malouda going forward. Along with a long-term replacement in Lampard's role Someone like Ribery, Pastore comes to mind, while of course Modric wants to go to them.

We DESPERATELY need two type of players; creative midfielders and wingers. We lacked creativity from midfield and were predictable in the wide areas last season. We had no attacking outlet on the right side, only the left and once the opposition figured that out, we became clueless in our attack!
