He is rubbish, please someone take him and kalou, malouda, ramires

He is a good defensive midfielder, young and has years in him. With Chelsea wanting him to go and A.C. Milan needing a young midfielder, it would be best if they buy him. He has good strength and is a good anchor-man.

Ramires?! Are you joking? He is now one of the most important Chelsea players, because Lampard is ageing and Essien is struggling with injuries. Malouda needs to be off-loaded considering that he is past his prime but I still think Kalou needs to stay, considering the fact that he is a perfect back-up as he can play as a winger as well as a striker.

Well I have always seen Mikel to be a nuisance to Chelsea, kicking him out is the right way to go, he's that crap a player. Young? Fine. But a good CDM? lol.

I can see it from your point of view. His transfer controversy cost 16 million pounds(including paying 12 million to their fierce rival). Obviously Chelsea need to offload him and instead go for Modric and De Rossi. But he is somewhat good. Not too good, but somewhat. He would fit into the A.C. Milan system and Serie A.

I must be missing something with ramires, i dont see him even fit to lace lamps boots, i agree we need to replace lampard now, but ramires did nothing to show me he is that man last season, and i suspect another season will only prove me right further.

We need quality players who are in there prime now, not players who may prove to be good, we will be to far behind man utd waiting for players to show promise.

First of all, Ramires is by no means the replacement for Lampard. The former is not even a creative midfielder to begin with. He's more of a player that is similar to Essien.

And you already dismiss the quality of Ramires after just ONE season in English football? Fantastic!

Sign Modric Chelsea

Accordingly to The Daily Mail we've allowed Juventus to hold talks with Obi Mikel for a valuation of 15 million (pounds). I would've considered the move prior to Essien going down, but now, I'm not too sure if we're sufficiently covered for the anchor/defensive-mid area.

As for the Modric fiasco, I don't see why we can't trial McEachran in such an advanced/creative midfield role. He has an immense natural passing + movement ability. Only thing going against him is his experience, or lackthereof, to entrust an 18 year old with given the club's context with the CL and all. Would save us heaps in the finance department and will aid with the UEFA Fair Play regulations.

Though, it tis' great seeing Modric on my FIFA 11 Chelsea save as a CAM leading Torres and Drogba/Sturridge

Some players just dont have "it" and ramires to me does not have the potential to be good enough for chelsea, some players come to England and just look the part, like the little pea at utd for example.

Then there are players like Ramires who yes after only one season i feel are not quite cut out for the premiership.

Wehave given mikel and kalou long enough and look, they are not good enough and have "not" come on like we would have hoped.

Hey thats football, but we need established world class players now if we want to be taking the title away from utd.

Well the amount of quality Central midfielders are reducing so everybody needs to be content. More of them are shifting to as a defensive midfielder or attacking midfielder as being Central is really tough, as the player needs to do all the duties.
