Football Transfers Thread

Comon 8 goals is still a massive thing in now a days football we all know and if your saying united will win easily next season is rubbish you cant forget chelsea with all their massive signing whereas we will have a look at transfer market:p so nothing is for granted who knws because when utd were having 8 point lead going in last few matches and then who won the league we all knw so that is the beauty of this league so for me it will be interesting season to watch rather than utd domination because certainly now world class players prefferd position is not old trafford example is hazard:D:D

I don't think United will win easily next season. United were poor this season, luckily all other teams were too. City included. Far too many mistakes. So really they should aim to improve more than the other teams, and they easily can with a player like Vidic. He is premier league experienced, so like a new signing but one of the top 5 CBs in the world who is also your captain. No defensive signing City or Chelsea make can match the difference he will make to the team. Thiago Silva included, though he's not moving.

Hazard went to Chelsea because he would get to play wherever he wanted, player power is huge, and also they payed MUCH higher wages than Utd, and higher than City. (I believe it was Chelsea 200 K, City 150 K, Utd 130 K).

Kagawa will be bigger than Hazard anyway.

Way I see it:

1. Man United
2. Man City
3. Chelsea

I personally hate Man Utd with a passion so wouldn't like to see it happen, but I reckon it will. Just have to accept it. Chelsea are poor at the back too so I don't see them overtaking City or Utd, though they will easily overtake Newcastle, Spurs and Arsenal, if they haven't already.

8 goals is nothing btw. I watched the 6-1 (and enjoyed it :D), I can't remember if Vidic was playing, but I really can't see a result like that happening with your true captain. Those final goals surely wouldn't have gone in. That alone would have reduced the goal difference, plus the effects of the loss would've been reduced.

You are deluded if you think City would've won the title if Utd had Vidic all season. This isn't some average CB, this is Vidic, il capitano.

Chelsea need defensive reinforcements if the want to win the PL.

Although I may very well may be proven wrong.

Weirdly enough, with the make-up of the current Chelsea squad after the clearout of some old players and huge money on new talent, AvB would be the perfect manager to get the best out of it, especially with Hulk in there. :p

A shame not see AVB now though, like you pointed out.

Looks like RDM is going to stay as the manager.

If your saying that i will never never agree on that if u want i can show both stats and then compare plz. kagawa is a good player but will never will be hazard class:thumbs thats for sure
And now i cant see any favourites but i think it will be manchesters club and chelsea and arsenal if they spend some and keep hold of van persie which i hope come to our club then for sure we will be up there as champions plus martinez there if he comes

City already have 4 quality strikers. Then there's Guidetti too.

City need to sell Adam Johnson, and sign another attacking midfielder. Mainly to challenge Milner and Nasri and give more depth. Another quality CB to partner Kompany and they'll do well.

It's a shame really that Johnson is at City to some extent. Could have developed a lot more if he was able to play the Robben role at a club that needed him.

Believing what the English media wrote about the wages eh?!

Our defence would need a reinforcement or two with the departure of Bosingwa but don't think it is poor. Main problem with that last season was how AVB wanted us to play and it left us exposed on so many occasions. The 5-3 defeat to Arsenal was a clear example of that.

Arguably the right man for the job but just came at the wrong time.

Funnily enough Chelsea's defence kind of won them the Champions League...

Cahill to be fair to him looked class towards the end of the season. Him and Luiz could be a very good partnership.

I agree. Johnson's gotta go, not because he's bad, but for his own good. I seriously can't think of the last time he started for us, wonderful player, underrated and underutilized.

We could get another attacking midfielder like you said, but I think a solid CB to partner Kompany is more important. Jan Vertonghen would've been perfect, too bad we didn't go after him.

yup we have 4 strikers but i dont want antics striker i mean in pitch they are quality but of the pitch they are antics and i dont want them but i wouldnt mind tevez in team but for balotelli please leave but i must thank him for the biggest assist of the season:D

Poor defence in comparison to Utd and City for sure. Maybe even Arsenal.

van der Wiel wouldn't be a bad signing. Bosingwa V2 possibly but still a chance he could come good.

Very easy to look at the stats of the players. The fact is Hazard is playing in Ligue 1 where the team revolves around him, Kagawa is playing in the more difficult Bundesliga and has helped to topple Bayern two seasons in a row, while Hazard only tasted success once.

They are different players though. Both on and off the pitch. The off pitch things are probably why many people think Hazard is better, he whores himself out and thinks of himself as the best player in the world, and tells it to the press. Kagawa is Japanese so would not do that.

Kagawa will be bigger.

Arsenal won't be in the running for the title, maybe 3rd place but most likely 4th will be ours.

Fair enough with the City comparison but United? Ha! Apart from their CBs(including Jones & Smalling), what else have they got in the FBs position? Evra has gone backwards and has been average for awhile now while Rafael is just like another Bosingwa defensively at RB for United. In the end, the team with a "poor" defence went all the way in the CL and won it(!) while the supposed better one was knocked out of Europe, TWICE!

To say Arsenal's defence is better than ours? You must be saying that with a red tinted glass. Have you actually seen the amount of defensive errors that Arsenal have repeated down the years?! They could easily have their own DVD of defensive bloopers!

Again, believing the English media. :facepalm

Not denying that Hazard could have handled the transfer situation better but all he did was just to tease or even troll us, if you like, about his move. He never once said about being better than others or things like but the media completely took it out of context whatever he said and people believe it!

If you really think Hazard is all arrogant, likes to whore himself out etc, then I suggest you to read this.
