See on sky sports news today there is a strong possibilty Lampard is going to LA Galaxy

Good luck to him, been a legend :clap

Really? I thought he had at least another season of top level football and would end his career at Chelsea.

But yeah, he's been a class act.

Think that is just a pure BS rumour, almost as bad as the one linking Terry to PSG. Our name have been completely thrown around this summer with the media linking with almost every player out there. Would take that with a pinch of salt.

Is he eligible for England? If so, then I'd love to see him go abroad - some exposure to day in, day out European style football can't do a young English player any harm. :)

Hoilett is Canadian.

Lampard isn't going anywhere, especially not to USA. If he goes anywhere, it'll be to another European club as he has won everything with Chelsea and still looks good enough to be a good player for a season in a top league.

I heard earlier this year that Hoilett's father is Jamaica and they have been trying to get him also. Not sure how truth it is though.

I believe he rejected a call-up from Canada to give more time to his decision of where he wants to play - the only thing this would point to would be that he wants to play for England.

I don't think he'll be eligible for quite a while though, so might have to settle for Canada or Jamaica. He has been in talks with both national teams so anything is possible.

I hope he does become available for England, he looks a good player.

Sad for Napoli, thoroughly enjoyed watching Lavezzi/Cavani/Hamsik last season.

I guess this may open the way for Juve to buy Cavani now.

I doubt it. They don't have to sell, why would they. The plan from the start was just to sell Lavezzi and keep Hamsik and Cavani, unless a huge offer comes through. Still may happen, but don't expect Cavani to leave for less than 40-50 m, maybe even 60. Same with the other hot property up front, Falcao.

Good risk taken by Spurs I reckon. Not like the Chelsea job where he was asked to approach things in a certain way and where there were clear problems at the club.

Tbh I will be very disappointed if Spurs end up with Vertonghen as well, and some more good signings.

Really the whole top six is looking real good. Pool falling behind as they are clearly failing to attract the top quality talent they crace. They need to take risks on players and hope the risks pay off.

Newcastle also said to be very close to signing Debuchy, de Jong and Douglas.

We're also waiting to offload the deadwood before we can buy anyone, might even be able to get M'Vila for under 10 m in August. Though some of the deadwood will be very hard to get rid of, e.g. Squillaci. We'll have to pay the buyers to take him. No jokes.

Will be a huge season in the prem as everyone seems to be spending big.

Don't know what to make of it but I ACTUALLY had a dream that AVB became spurs boss and his voice was deafening high at a sort of press conference laying all blame on Chelsea. TOO MUCH FOOTBALL.

On the other hand I think this is a perfect gamble, never thought he could do with Chelsea with their giant-like and one way attitude. Spurs should be the perfect job for him, and he seemed to have got a load of money at Spurs too.

Funny now he should keep Modric from his former club's clutches as opposed to taking him from his new club's to Chelsea. If he can convince Modric to stay there's no denying about Spurs' rise to the top 3. They could've stayed on unless your FA made a mess with Harry.

I also hope he gives Dos Santos a chance, if he can play him up now as he proved earlier with young players that were only fringe/backup then that'd be great.

Okay so Sigurdsson is a spurs player. AVB Impact already. Great signing. Looks like the Adebayor deal is off too. This man's got his methods, even cut off stars from the team if they don't fall into his plans.
