Reckon Dempsey, De Vries and Johnson would be good signings.

The rest will never happen. Ramirez is possible though I reckon Spurs will get him.

Also, I don't think Agger is irreplaceable at all. He is far too injury prone even though he is a very good defender. If you can line up a decent replacement, I'd say it'd be a good idea to let Man City overpay for him, especially if you can get Johnson out of it too. I can't think of any PL defenders trying to leave from smaller clubs off the top of my head, but one of those would be decent.

well we need to bring in another winger, if we can use the money to bring in one and a centre mid it's a good move for us as we have a small squad.

Besides he is injury prone, and to be truthful he hasn't shown much more than potential.

it's a shame though as i'd like to see him become a top player here for us, being a local lad. But that's rarely how football works these days.

That'd be a great sale TBH for Everton. Would bring in more funds than Arteta's sale did, and he is not even as proven as Arteta, although he does have the potential to reach even greater heights than him.

Anticipating Mancini to either line him up as a long-term replacement for Barry, or he could just put him in the CB role, like how he did for Kompany.

One thing that will slightly make Liverpool fans feel better is that Rodwell can actually play at CB too. Meaning City might have as well given up on Agger...

If he can stay fit and become that top player at City, great news for England.

The more i look at this, the more i'd say RVP would be misguided to leave Arsenal. Their signing have been more as good as he could ask for in a effort to challenge for the title IMO.

While United although they have the winning history, they haven't signed anyone that makes you stand up. The fact the SAF is chasing RVP so bad now, kind of highlights this too.

Hmm if Newcastle to get Van der weil, that's a decent little squad being built their this season.

Rodwell to City really came as a surprise. The purchase by Mancini has that feel of 'buying for the sake of buying'. Could potentially ruin his career by moving there though with Mancini getting Rodwell, it could mean De Jong is leaving soon.

Certainly isn't a desperate signing by Mancini considering he keeps stressing that all signings are down to Brian Marwood and not him.

One half of Manchester slots a CB in all other positions and the other half maybe is looking to turn a CM into a CB.

Versatility for England coming up nicely.

haha mancini said that for rodwell it will be the first time he is playing for a team that tries to win. classes arsehole.

What his managerial record against everton? pretty sure its played 6 won 1 lost 5....

He'll probably end up being an expensive bench-warmer. ;) I really would've preferred seeing him somewhere he'll get more game-time.

He'll be a nice replacement for the other midfield crock they had in Hargreaves.
