Heard, ?80m + Nani and De Gea and you might have a chance...

I heard ?60m, plus those two players. It shows how mad the football world is when the rumours say 'as little as ?60m'... :facepalm

Happy New Year, anyway. :)

That was from the Sun, so I doubt it to be true.

And Happy New Year to you too.

Yea but come march 2013 it will be 2 years since Tony Pulis made that "ticking time-bomb" comment about Ba's knee injury.

Sure it may be still around, but he hasn't got injured yet @ either west ham or newcastle.

true, but stoke are a phenomenally well run club. they get the best out of whatever they have. they could have signed him for free and chose not to, obviously they could simply have just been wrong, but i tend to think that they get a lot of their decisions right. If they signed him 18 months ago and his knee popped in augsut we'd be saying "poor stoke" or something.

it's basically a percentage thing i guess.

Really having my doubts over this boy. Here's to hoping he proves me wrong.

Rumors floating around in that we might cancel Sahin's loan stay and instead sign PSG's Kevin Gameiro on loan. Would be a great move for all parties 'cause:

1. Sahin is too good to be wasted by Rodgers
2. Gameiro hasn't exactly got his chances either at PSG
3. Liverpool obviously need another wide striker, and KG is just that. Offloading one of our rarely used CMs to effect this move sounds astute, for once from the club.

Good bit of business too, ?12m in, ?7.5m out and that too for a superior player.

Serie A: Alexandre Pato set to leave AC Milan and join Corinthians | Latest Football Transfer News | Sky Sports

Seems just about done this deal. He's doing the right thing in my eyes and if it all goes well he will eventually get another shot at one of the top clubs in Europe, a season or two maybe?

Good luck Pato.

Pato struggles in Milan along with Robinho in europe is one of the reasons why i think the hype neymar is getting is fairy over the the top given he hasn't played in europe yet.
