Are Juve still financed by Fiat? They always seem to have dosh and their net spend's generally the highest every season in Serie A.

Their official site doesn't list Fiat among their sponsors (scroll down below).

That has more to do with the other Serie A guns being cash-strapped lol.. Roma have apparently struck gold a week back with a rumored Sheikh takeover, so would be interesting if they can challenge Juve financially next season on.

EDIT: These are the exact quotes from one of their sources:

"AS Roma announces an agreement with Qatari Oligarch Sheikh Adnan al Shtewi, who will invest a sum of ?100m in the summer."

Rumours of Rooney going to PSG and if they offer anything around 45m then I'd take it personally, he's been so inconsistent over the past couple of seasons and its not like Utd are short of quality strikers right now.

I'd rather promote will keane from the reserves really, he's gonna be a top player. He would've definitely played some form of first team footie this season if it wasn't for his injury.

Don't rate him at all... Wasn't even Udinese's best player before signing for Barca (Isla, Di Natale were heaps better)

Plus he hasn't really lived up to expectations since he signed for Barca either. I heard that Reds were also interested in Ben Arfa a couple weeks back - that would be a better choice i would think.

I don't know about that one, Ben Arfa's injury record certainly doesn't help his case...

Not like he'd wanna join us though, given the French Revolution that surrounds his Newcastle side at present lol..

But yeah, saw a few papers linking us with Ben Arfa, with Carroll apparently thought to be used as a makeweight. Injury prone yeah, but his class is arguably undoubted. Would take him here in a heartbeat - a goal-scoring winger is what we've painfully lacked this season (following Kuyt's departure).

I remember people who were saying his move to Man City was successful:lol. Where are you now fellas?

On the Juve striker debate, considering the tension between Fiorentina and Juve it would take a huge bid to pick up Jovetic and it'd be the Italian version of RVP to Man Utd I guess in that one set of fans will be extremely angry if it goes through. The thing is last summer they badly needed someone other than the best striker in the world, Nicklas Bendtner. If they were willing to fork out big money they would've picked up someone last summer, I think part of the reason they want Llorente is he's free.

I fancy Jovetic more at Man City tbh. Tevez says he is leaving when his contract is up, Dzeko never seems to be assured of his future and Balotelli has left one spot open... Would be great behind Aguero. Lewandowski is another option for Man City though I reckon Bayern will be his destination. Both are options for the future too.

Christian Benteke is another pretty big striker who will be on the move, and even though he has professed his love for Arsenal, I reckon he could do a great job at Spurs. Adebayor badly needs to be demoted to third choice. Or moved on altogether.

The last thing Spurs need is another selfish striker whose finishing is quite erratic.

Well, it was successful in the sense that he won something, but it was also unsuccessful in the same sense that he played no part in the League triumph last season.

(I know he had something like 9 assists in the league last season, but so does Podolski this season, so der, numbers do tweaking lie, sometimes.)

Funny you bring up RVP, Juventus themselves were chasing him around like mad dogs all through the summer, only to not sign him...

Jovetic has had a very average season no? At least that's what I've heard from a view of my friends that actually follow the Serie A(Milan fan boys :rolleyes).

Tevez is the best example for someone who won it all too early(thanks United), the man has no desire whatsoever to better himself. Now that I think about it, maybe he just hit his prime early like Torres, what the kerpluck do I know eh.

Hate to break the news to you guys, but it's highly unlikely that we go out and get a 4th striker, more so because we need to give Guidetti the playing time he craves or he'll just walk out on us...

Dzeko out, Cavani/Falcao in.
Tevez out, Suarez/Jovetic in.

Quality player, think would do well at either club tbh.
