Football Transfers Thread

-.-.
Just because a string of performances are bad dosen't mean you start looking for new keeper.Take for example,Beckham. The trust shown by Ferguson,it is what is required. The confidence is what gets player's to perform the way they do. :)

He's a young prodigy?

He lost his head since City won the title, been inconsistent ever since.

His performance against Dortmund at home came after we won the title, but whatever. :rolleyes

Now tell me why the hell are City & Spurs interested in Sharrawy?

Do you take anything ever read on any and all transfer gossip columns seriously? At least post the sources...

Fergie said he let him go because he was being bossy. :p But look at the team It is Man City. Ever thought why Tevez went?

Uhm, he had 1 year to run and was unwilling to sign an extension. Ever thought about looking up the facts?

He said that on the BBC thing. :facepalm
BBC Sport - Sir Alex Ferguson book: David Beckham had to leave Man Utd
And I think you are forgetting that this thread is on Football Discussion section, can't one discuss transfers here? :rolleyes
I suggest you to know your facts before commenting on some one Else's.

That was in relation to El Shaarawy and not Beckham, so I'm going to assume that you either can't see or you can't read.

That's the problem kid, you're not discussing transfers, you're discussing 100% speculative garbage while trying to pose them as facts, with no evidence of a source of any kind.

----------

That's not to say this thread has no place for speculative garbage, it does, hell, you only have to go back a page or so to see myself doing it, just don't pose it off as facts with some non-existing "ins" on the transfer market.

missed my memory, have to credit him that. But over time he's sort of deteriorated for England and City. Remember Ibra's wonder goal came partly because Hart was out of his mind. Still top class though, needs to get his mind straight.

Rumour has it that Dortmund want to sell Lewandowski for $10m to anybody but Bayern. Honestly their only option is to offload him in January and still get a return. Aubameyang's presence might have eased Dortmund's worries about having someone as formidable as Lewandowski up front if not better.

I honestly, really feel we should lock this thread until the transfer window opens.
We are in the middle of the season, with the next window opening 2 months away.. We would rather concentrate on the beautiful game rather than the ugly rumours. There is entire January for that.

Zaha can't buy a game at United although I expect him to feature against Norwich in the cup tomorrow.

I can see him being sent out on loan, I'm really hoping my team Bolton can snap him up! :yes And I wouldn't rule it out what with his connection to Dougie Freedman.

Now when did I say it is a fact! And the Bekham thing, read the above thing once again it might help. And how do you know it is 100% garbage? yes it is garbage if Skysports and BBC reported this, yes it is garbage if dailymail reported this. If you want evidence I give you evidence.

Do you think I'm Anish or something, that's the only thing that would explain the constant blabbering on Beckham (and Fergie, and his damn book)...

Anyway, the thing that matters, and the thing that I've been blabbering about in the last few posts is the following:

Now tell me why the hell are City & Spurs interested in Sharrawy?

Mhm, that sure looks like someone's posing something as fact when it's not... and I know it's 100% garbage because for one it's completely unrealistic (less City and more Spurs), and for two because you haven't provided any evidence to say otherwise.

Dzeko for Lewandowski? Let's make it happen Dortmund! :rolleyes

I agree.

Transfer News: Manchester United target Roma star Miralem Pjanic - reports - Premier League - Football - The Independent

http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/tottenhams-jermain-defoe-offered-transfer-2657700 - Tottenham's Jermain Defoe offered transfer to Canada on ?90,000 a week

Sometimes i feel sorry for Defoe, he is not perfect and you probably have to a counter-attacking team/playing a 4-4-2 formation to fully suit him, but Spurs have just never trusted him enough to be the # 1.

Canada/MLS is too risky a move for him in a world cup year. He might as well go to QPR i'd say, Hodgson knows he will just be a sub for England that he will use for Brazil "if" the situation arises - he just needs regular football.

So even if he slams in the goals vs inferior championship defenses for 5 months shouldn't be looked down on - since he clearly is & always will be premier league quality.

He said that in relation to Spurs, not Arsenal.

I wouldn't touch him with a barge pole though, he's average and will cost a fortune if he ever moves.

He said that about both clubs.

He has had injury troubles and motivation issues, but there is a top-class striker in there. Like how Giuseppe Rossi is having something of a renaissance now after overcoming his injuries, the same could happen for Pato if he gets a move, all he needs is to get past his injuries. The motivation should come from the move and a new manager like Wenger would certainly provide that. He's the sort of striker we need to rotate with Giroud.

It's a similar case to Benzema. Both are top class but have been awful recently, they just need someone to get them back on track to their world class potential. I think Wenger could have that effect as he seems to with players.
