Would hate it is Costa goes to Chelsea personally. Hope Atletico keeps all their players and just strengthens. That would bring a end to the Real/Barca La Liga dominance for once.
Last season we saw a very talented Dortumund break up. This is the slight problem with football I have. Everytime a mid-size clubs seems to be stepping up to challenge the traditional powerhouses - the big boys poach their top players.

Well in the long term it's good for Atletico to sell Diego Costa. Their finances are in tatters like all La Liga clubs, they have no choice but to cash in on their best players.
David Villa really needs to step it up next season, and you'd hope that Leo Baptistao would be ready for a bigger role at Atletico now with his loan period at Betis allowing him to settle into the league.

Atletico are trying to buy Luciano Vietto of Racing Club and Angel Correa of San Lorenzo. Both have immense potential and they are barely 20-odd.

Yep, both are mighty talented. Correa especially is one of the hottest South American prospects.
That ship has sailed IMO, he should have pushed on this season but he hasn't and hence I don't see him reaching a level much higher than he's currently at. His dribbling and finishing are impressive, but I think it's time for him to move onto another club.

If I am not wrong , he is 23 , so he has time on his side , thus the possibility of being a One season wonder is unlikely unless he gets ravaged by injuries. Atletico , IMHO , cannot buy players for more than 15M. They have immense debts iirc , so their only option is buying rough diamonds.

Well yea that's a next bad thing about La Liga in particular, Real & Barca really don't eat up all the TV revenue money at thus causes this problem. This is why for example the "big three" takeover in cricket by India/ENG/AUS which is similar to La Liga is such a horrible idea.

Atleti can try buying Pato. The poor lad has had his career (almost)ruined by Allegri and is playing for Sao Paulo in Brazil at an age where he should be playing for a top club in Europe. Atleti have a famous history of making good strikers very good , so I feel it would be great if they try to buy Pato. He would not cost much I guess , max 10M , and that might be within Atleti's budget.
