Football Transfers Thread

He's a crock whose life is parties. He doesn't seem to be anywhere near as quick as he was at Milan either, his injuries and lifestyle are really getting to him.

I guess that's not something that comes up in Youtube videos.

The YT thing is getting outta hand , man =P. Pato used to have so much potential and was a beast at that time . I still believe it was Allegri's fault of playing him when he was clearly not 100% that ruined his career. Had he avoided it , Pato could've been starring for a club like Real

I was kidding, I just had to get in on the act too:p.

Pato definitely was world class potential, that isn't the case any more. You can lame Allegri, I'd rather blame Pato's lifestyle and his bad luck with injuries.

Certainly , they were lucky Lewa did not get injured for long periods this season cause their back-up , Julian Scheiber sucks. But if they get Immobile , they will have 4 strikers - Ramos , Immobile , Scheiber and Ji Dong Won. Playing with 2 strikers perhaps? And Immobile is co-owned by Juve and Torino , so they will have to negotiate with both the clubs and Torino do not seem keen to sell him , so that might be a troublesome part.

Didn't know about Ji moving to Dortmund. Always felt he never got a good enough chance for Sunderland, however I don't think he's CL or even EL level.

Schieber is dog turd and needs to go. Aubameyang's season has really tailed off after a great start, but I was expecting him to be a possible Lewy replacement too, though he hasn't played as a striker really at all this season.

Immobile will be a good signing to go with Ramos. Both are high quality strikers who will thrive at Dortmund, not Lewy level though.

I expect Reus to leave soon , so I guess they will play Mkhitaryan/Aubameyang/Kuba as the wingers with 2 strikers. Mkhitaryan has impressed more as a winger than as a number 10.

Ji is only 22 , so Klopp has enough time to work his magic and make him a superstar by 25-26.

I don't see why Reus would leave or where he'd go, don't let the media convince you he's going to Man Utd because that's not happening:lol. I reckon he'll stick around a little longer.

You also have Grosskreutz who can play as a winger of course.

He has a ridiculously low release clause - 29.5 M. That is pocket change for the teams who want him. And he will make 10x the money he makes at BVB. He only earns 20K or so in BVB. Unless he signs a new contract , there will be a huge chance he will leave due to the release clause.

Didn't know about Ji Dong-won, but I reckon that's the end of Scheiber's time at BVB whether they sign Immobile or not, and I wasn't aware of the co-ownership deal between Juve and Torino, which makes me wonder, what exactly is stopping Juve from buying the other half of his player's rights like they did off Genoa when they had a co-ownership deal with them, especially after the kind of season he's had.

Going by BVB's policy of just losing 1 big player each summer, he's probably going to have to wait till 2016 with Gundogan most likely leaving in 2015. :p

Expect that release clause to be sorted when he signs an extension, and let's not forget, this is the same player that turned down Bayern so he could go back to BVB, when he leaves, which he will someday, it will be with BVB's blessing.

Gotze was a Dortmund boy through and through as well , but we know what he did. The players have one career , so they have to make as much as they can. ( talking about making money , btw :p ). Reus arguably has more chance of winning trophies at clubs like Bayern , Barca and Real. A move to United will be preposterous cause I can see Chelsea,City and maybe Arsenal dominating the next decade.

That was kinda my point, Reus is not Gotze, and when I say Reus will leave someday, I really mean eventually.
