Story FTP: Winners or Losers run to the top | Week 1 news is up

Meant to of done this on Sunday but forget anyway

Week 12 news
Winners or losers vs. Dodge (T20 6.1)
In the first match of week number 12 it was our team versus an the 4 and 7 team called the Dodge and I know what you are thinking. Isn't the dodgeball team. In a easy match it was the bowlers destructive again with Harolid Illman taking 4 wickets including a spectalor bowl to end the innings. Wilfred Castles should of stayed in traning with the youth team as he was the expenisve one of the lot and not taking a wicket. The batsman with an easy run chase of 126 was achived with 7 or so overs reaming with Rick Brookes smashing another 50 to camp over a good win. It wasn't smooth sailing though as the MadDogs won their match against the redback designated drinkers which meant that a mouth-watering clash is on to defintly take the title and promoting into divison 5.

Winners or losers vs. redback designated drinkers (Youth 5.3)
While I am talking about the redback designated drinkers, we took on them last week and it was a much tougher match and the day previsolry with it being a flat pitch. There were only 2 men when we had to start the game as batting men and they were the wicket keeper, Andrew Mullooly and Ariyasiri Kalum which put on a 198 run stand to help the youth team score a mammoth 330 for the target to chase down and it would of been a bit lower if it wasn't for Wilfred Castles 68 not out. Their youth team went on the attack and it was lead by one man and his name was Patrick Burke as he was the top scorer scoring 129 runs which was the top score of the day. But he didn't had a partner to seetle in with as wickets kept falling as each partnership tried to strenghen. In a end it was a good victory for Winners or losers which keep the team on top of the youth table.

Sydney Smashers vs. Winners or losers (OD 6.20)
In a battle between two Stick Sport members it was the experince that took the match from the inexperince one as the Winners or losers capted off the week by winning 3 in a row but for the title it was too little too late as the leaders won their match by a mammoth 419 runs.

In other news I have been entered into the Stick Sports FTP League with all of my stick sports friends and I will be taking on Ag6858 in Round 1.

Brilliant week as you won 3 games. Can we have player analysis per month?

Winners or losers vs. tttt (T20 6.1)
The final T20 match came to my home ground and it was an easy win for my team as our team won by 10 wickets.

Zane Thorn had won the toss and elected to bowl and it was a good choice as the first 2 overs became wickets as tttt was batting like a T20 team as the score was 2/4 after only 2 overs. They didn't get settled after losing the first 2 wickets with the overs becoming wicket after wicket until the 8th over which J. Hurn got the very first boundary of the game with only 4 bounarys in the innings. Finally a partnership got settled in the 10th over with no wickets falling. But just because they get settled doesn't meen that the Winners or losers bowl tight bowling until another collapse as the tttt fell for just 78.

Code:
0.1 . Dzingai to Morgan : A firm stroke straight to mid-off.
0.2 . Dzingai to Morgan : Morgan gets right in behind the line there and defends into the covers. That certainly puts the solid in consolidation.
0.3 1 Dzingai to Morgan : Down the track comes Morgan to push this one out to long on for a single.
0.4 . Dzingai to Hurn : Dzingai and Naeem go up in unison for an LBW, but it's not upheld by the umpire. Hurn seems to be indicating that he thinks he clipped it with his bat.
0.5 1 Dzingai to Hurn : A lacklustre ball and a rather lazy shot, Hurn attempting the pull but not really connecting. Sedate running completes this unspectacular passage of play.
0.6 W Dzingai to Morgan : [catch] A wild slog induces a top edge that swirls in the air before being pouched by Naeem
L. Morgan c Z. Naeem b. B. Dzingai 1 (4b 0x4 0x6) SR:25.00
End of over 1 (2 runs) - tttt(2-1) RR 2.00
J. Hurn 1 (2b), G. Kirby 0 (0b) , B. Dzingai 1-0-2-1

1.1 . Thorn to Kirby : Short one, hit the bat handle, and drops safe. Kirby didn't know where it was, and didn't run. It could have gone anywhere that one. Wicked delivery from Thorn.
1.2 W Thorn to Kirby : Kirby played down the wrong line to a ball angled into him. A sniff of swing as well and a raucous appeal as it hit him on the front foot. It was in line and hitting leg.
G. Kirby lbw b. Z. Thorn 0 (2b 0x4 0x6) SR:0.00
1.3 . Thorn to Moody : Loose delivery from Thorn but Moody mistimes it. No run there.
1.4 . Thorn to Moody : Good ball just outside off stump. Moody leaves.
1.5 . Thorn to Moody : [dropped] Moody hits a leading edge and there is confusion on the field as Dzingai and Thorn both shout "MINE". The players collide and the ball spills from Dzingai's hands, with Moody looking on with amusement.
1.6 2 Thorn to Moody : Moody clips that off his legs for 2. He is tidy in that area.
End of over 2 (2 runs) - tttt(4-2) RR 2.00
N. Moody 2 (4b), J. Hurn 1 (2b) , Z. Thorn 1-0-2-1

2.1 2 Dzingai to Hurn : In the air through the point region. 2 runs.
2.2 . Dzingai to Hurn : Solid forward defensive there and it goes back to Dzingai for a dot ball.
2.3 . Dzingai to Hurn : Really full delivery, Hurn mistimes his punch and Dzingai makes a sprawling stop in his follow through.
2.4 . Dzingai to Hurn : A group of spectators are giving players a hard time when they are fielding on the boundary and Rock is getting pretty annoyed with one particular chant they've come up with. I'm not going to repeat it; it's a family show and it doesn't even rhyme with Rock properly.
2.5 1 Dzingai to Hurn : Driven well and despite it going straight to Sierksma, he had little chance of a run out there.
2.6 1 Dzingai to Moody : Fast and short, Moody attempts a pull shot but only gets a top edge. The ball sails high before Elliot from deep fine leg takes the ball on the bounce. The batsmen stroll through for a lazy single.
End of over 3 (4 runs) - tttt(8-2) RR 2.67
J. Hurn 4 (7b), N. Moody 3 (5b) , B. Dzingai 2-0-6-1

3.1 . Thorn to Moody : Naeem thinks he's got Moody stumped, he's gone absolutely ballistic - but Moody's back foot was well in. Maybe Naeem was just happy he caught it.
3.2 . Thorn to Moody : Drilled back at Thorn who throws a boot out in a vain attempt to stop it, luckily for him the ball crashes into the stumps at the bowler's end and Rahman swoops in to make sure there's no run.
3.3 1 Thorn to Moody : Moody gets forward and pushes it just wide of mid-off. One run taken.
3.4 . Thorn to Hurn : Short ball outside off stump and well left alone by Hurn.
3.5 1 Thorn to Hurn : Hurn gets forward and pushes it just wide of mid-off. One run taken.
3.6 1 Thorn to Moody : [Yorker] Thorn gets the yorker wrong, delivering a low full toss. Moody's eyes light up, but he fails to make good contact. Just the single down to long on.
End of over 4 (3 runs) - tttt(11-2) RR 2.75
J. Hurn 5 (9b), N. Moody 5 (9b) , Z. Thorn 2-0-5-1

4.1 W Ayub to Moody : [catch] There's a sound! And it's given! Just too quick for Moody to react to that. His swing was late and the edge was noticeable.
N. Moody c Z. Naeem b. K. Ayub 5 (10b 0x4 0x6) SR:50.00
4.2 . Ayub to Marquet : Full ball down the leg side, beats Marquet's leaden footed waft and cannons into the back pad. Half-hearted appeal from behind the stumps seems to do enough to distract Marquet from running a leg bye.
4.3 1 Ayub to Marquet : The batsmen will need to be quick here, and they are. Brilliant fielding from Parker had Hurn at full stretch to make his ground.
4.4 2 Ayub to Hurn : Ah, short and wide, Hurn has all the time in the world to rock back and carve it behind point.
4.5 1 Ayub to Hurn : Pitched up ball deflected by Hurn to mid-off for a single.
4.6 . Ayub to Marquet : Good take from Naeem diving in front of first slip. "Wide!" cry some fans as it bends away late.
End of over 5 (4 runs) - tttt(15-3) RR 3.00
J. Marquet 1 (3b), J. Hurn 8 (11b) , K. Ayub 1-0-4-1
J. Hurn is tired.

5.1 . Rock to Hurn : A flighted delivery that spins viciously and beats the edge. Hurn looks bemused as he inspects the pitch.
5.2 . Rock to Hurn : Great shot, straight to the fielder. Either side and that was going to smash into the advertising boards.
5.3 1 Rock to Hurn : Played along the ground just wide of Dzingai at mid-on. Hurn calls his partner through for a quick single. Good running!
5.4 . Rock to Marquet : Flatter delivery from Rock. It skids on and is awkwardly fended into the leg side by Marquet.
5.5 1 Rock to Marquet : A touch short from Rock. He needs to bowl a little fuller if he wants to trouble Marquet.
5.6 . Rock to Hurn : Wide outside the off stump and left alone. By the way, does anyone actually get that frog and teller joke?
End of over 6 (2 runs) - tttt(17-3) RR 2.83
J. Hurn 9 (15b), J. Marquet 2 (5b) , T. Rock 1-0-2-0

6.1 . Ayub to Marquet : An effort ball from Ayub, which Marquet just manages to push down - just as well as the ball was zipping into his ribs.
6.2 . Ayub to Marquet : Ayub drags the length back a fraction and Marquet has an age to hang on the back foot and defend.
6.3 1 Ayub to Marquet : Wonderful display of running there. Marquet has just dropped the ball at his feet and they have picked up a single.
6.4 1 Ayub to Hurn : Too straight there from Ayub and Hurn flicks it off his pads for 1.
6.5 1 W Ayub to Marquet : [runout] Smart work from the fielder there and Marquet is run out comfortably.
J. Marquet run out (M. McPherson) 4 (9b 0x4 0x6) SR:44.44
6.6 . Ayub to Hurn : Great ball from Ayub hits the seam and causes Hurn to play and miss outside the off stump. Lucky not to edge that one. No run.
End of over 7 (3 runs) - tttt(20-4) RR 2.86
J. Hurn 10 (17b), D. Scott 0 (0b) , K. Ayub 2-0-7-1

7.1 W Rock to Scott : [catch] Rock strikes! It was outside the off stump, Scott a bit lazy with the drive through the off side, gets the edge through to Naeem behind the wicket, who takes the catch at a comfortable height.
D. Scott c Z. Naeem b. T. Rock 0 (1b 0x4 0x6) SR:0.00
7.2 . Rock to Death : Touch wide and Death sensibly shoulders arms and lets it go by, no wickets likely to really come from those balls.
7.3 1 Rock to Death : Pitched up, outside off, driven for a single.
7.4 1 Rock to Hurn : Driven well and despite it going straight to Elliot, he had little chance of a run out there.
7.5 . Rock to Death : A half tracker from Rock which Death has somehow missed.
7.6 . Rock to Death : A good tight delivery there from Rock giving Death no choice but to play it safe.
End of over 8 (2 runs) - tttt(22-5) RR 2.75
R. Death 1 (4b), J. Hurn 11 (18b) , T. Rock 2-0-4-1

8.1 4 Rahman to Hurn : Nice use of the wrists there as Hurn turned it down to the boundary. Dzingai is far too fine for Rahman's liking! Oh no, come on! I didn't mean it like that...
8.2 2 Rahman to Hurn : Darted in quicker by Rahman, but Hurn reads it well and knocks it over Sierksma for a couple.
8.3 . Rahman to Hurn : Slow and flighted. Hurn is impatient and tries to loft it into the sight screen. It spins just past the edge.
8.4 . Rahman to Hurn : Good line and length. Hurn not sure whether to leave or play at it, ends up starting to play and then leaves, nicks the outside edge but lands in front of first slip.
8.5 1 Rahman to Hurn : An easy single straight down the ground to Ayub at long on.
8.6 . Rahman to Death : A half tracker from Rahman which Death has somehow missed.
End of over 9 (7 runs) - tttt(29-5) RR 3.22
R. Death 1 (5b), J. Hurn 18 (23b) , A. Rahman 1-0-7-0

9.1 . Dzingai to Hurn : That's gone through Hurn like baked beans through a fruit bat. Naeem looks at the stumps wondering how it could possibly have missed.
9.2 . Dzingai to Hurn : Hurn goes back and slashes hard outside off, but fails to make contact. He leans on his bat and looks to the heavens, not sure whether he's praying or checking the weather. 9.3 wd Dzingai to Hurn : Well wide of off stump.
9.3 W Dzingai to Hurn : [catch] Gone! Hurn falls to a pull shot. It was short, on middle stump and Hurn pulls it weakly to square leg where Parker takes the catch.
J. Hurn c T. Parker b. B. Dzingai 18 (26b 1x4 0x6) SR:69.23
9.4 . Dzingai to Sayers : In the channel, good length, touch of away movement. Sayers hangs the bat out but doesn't even get close.
9.5 1 Dzingai to Sayers : Nudged intelligently into the gap for a leisurely single.
9.6 1 Dzingai to Death : Dzingai nips it back from off stump, pinning Death to his crease. The bat comes down in the nick of time and Sayers is quick to call for the run.
End of over 10 (3 runs) - tttt(32-6) RR 3.20
B. Sayers 1 (2b), R. Death 2 (6b) , B. Dzingai 3-0-9-2

10.1 1 Rahman to Death : Death plays it towards the vacant square leg area for 1.
10.2 1 Rahman to Sayers : It's going to be close. It's going to be very close! Great running by Sayers but even so I'm amazed that they're not calling for a replay. Rahman and Naeem give the umpire the death stare but I can't see it doing them any good.
10.3 1 Rahman to Death : Oooh classy shot. Just waited on it, ran it off the face down to 3rd man for a single.
10.4 . Rahman to Sayers : Sayers belts it back at Rahman. The ball crashes into the stumps, sending the bails flying, before stopping at the base of the stumps. Very unlucky.
10.5 . Rahman to Sayers : [great fielding] Great shot, and a great dive by Elliot to prevent a run.
10.6 2 Rahman to Sayers : [Accumulator] Rahman tries to bowl the googly, but just ends up bowling a waist high full toss. Sayers can't put it away though, and the batsmen only get 2.
End of over 11 (5 runs) - tttt(37-6) RR 3.36
B. Sayers 4 (6b), R. Death 4 (8b) , A. Rahman 2-0-12-0

11.1 . Dzingai to Death : [great fielding] Second slip does very well to stop any runs there. The ball was edged by Death and bounced awkwardly just in front of Rahman who takes it cleanly and flicks it nonchalantly to Naeem.
11.2 . Dzingai to Death : Better players than Death would have done well to nick that.
11.3 1 Dzingai to Death : That's unlucky. Death played that firmly back past the bowler, but the ball struck the stumps at the non-striker's end and he'll only pick up a single.
11.4 b4 Dzingai to Sayers : Naeem has completely missed that and it runs down to the boundary.
11.5 1 Dzingai to Sayers : Sayers shows great grace and timing hitting it to the covers for 1. Beautiful to watch but only one to the score.
11.6 . Dzingai to Death : Death stays back to defend to short cover.
End of over 12 (6 runs) - tttt(43-6) RR 3.58
R. Death 5 (12b), B. Sayers 5 (8b) , B. Dzingai 4-0-11-2

12.1 . Thorn to Sayers : A delightful straight drive from Sayers but it's hit the stumps at the other end! It looks as though Death, who was backing up, just managed to get back in his crease. The bowler doesn't look happy, and neither does Death.
12.2 1 Thorn to Sayers : Short ball down leg, Sayers flicks it effortlessly down to fine-leg for a single.
12.3 wd Thorn to Death : 1 wide, down the leg side. Poor delivery.
12.3 1 Thorn to Death : Short outside off, Death goes hard at it and the top edge sails down to third man for a streaky single.
12.4 . Thorn to Sayers : [great fielding] Wonderful sprawling stop in the covers by Onyana! That looked like it was past him, but he's pulled off an outstanding save.
12.5 . Thorn to Sayers : Played along the ground straight to Onyana at midwicket. No run.
12.6 . Thorn to Sayers : Huge appeal from Thorn who is going quite red in the face with the effort. "Not out" says the umpire, the ball must have pitched outside leg as it would surely have hit the stumps.
End of over 13 (3 runs) - tttt(46-6) RR 3.54
B. Sayers 6 (13b), R. Death 6 (13b) , Z. Thorn 3-0-8-1

13.1 1 Ayub to Death : Tickled down to fine leg where the ball is collected and returned to Naeem.
13.2 . Ayub to Sayers : [great fielding] Sayers times it well but Sierksma is alert and manages to stop any chance of a run.
13.3 1 Ayub to Sayers : Back of a length ball, above middle stump, Sayers pulls confidently out to McPherson on the square leg boundary. The batsmen canter through for a single.
13.4 . Ayub to Death : [great fielding] Death hit that right out of the middle and only a great stop from Thorn prevented the boundary.
13.5 1 Ayub to Death : Death flicks it off his pads towards Onyana at fine leg and noticing the weaker fieldsman, he calls for a easy run.
13.6 lb3 Ayub to Sayers : Angled on leg and going down, he tries the flick but the ball clips the pad and escapes for 3 leg-byes.
End of over 14 (6 runs) - tttt(52-6) RR 3.71
R. Death 8 (16b), B. Sayers 7 (16b) , K. Ayub 3-0-10-1

14.1 1 Thorn to Sayers : Good delivery by Thorn. The batsman does well to play it on the off-side and take a single.
14.2 1 Thorn to Death : Short, fast and wide ball from Thorn. Death plays a gentle late-cut to third man and finds a single.
14.3 1 Thorn to Sayers : [Accumulator] Death calls early and turns what could have a been a risky single into an easy one.
14.4 . Thorn to Death : Another great delivery by Thorn. Right line, right length and a hint of movement away from the batsmen.
14.5 1 Thorn to Death : Through mid-on for a single.
14.6 4 Thorn to Sayers : Thorn serves up a genuine half-volley, and it's been duly dispatched through the covers for four. Superb timing from Sayers.
End of over 15 (8 runs) - tttt(60-6) RR 4.00
B. Sayers 13 (19b), R. Death 10 (19b) , Z. Thorn 4-0-16-1

15.1 . Ayub to Death : Dot ball. Good tight bowling there.
15.2 W Ayub to Death : [catch] Death appears to have mixed his hobby and day-job together fishing at that one outside off and giving Onyana a nice easy catch at point.
R. Death c H. Onyana b. K. Ayub 10 (21b 0x4 0x6) SR:47.62
15.3 . Ayub to Siggs : [great fielding] Siggs really does hit the ball hard. But McPherson took the blow for his team and stopped a certain boundary. No run.
15.4 1 Ayub to Siggs : Short, fast and wide ball from Ayub. Siggs plays a gentle late-cut to third man and finds a single.
15.5 . Ayub to Sayers : Short one, hit the bat handle, and drops safe. Sayers didn't know where it was, and didn't run. It could have gone anywhere that one. Wicked delivery from Ayub.
15.6 . Ayub to Sayers : A big swing and he's lucky there's no edge. Ayub raises his hands to his head and sports a wry smile. It carries through easily to Naeem and there's no shortage of "ooohs" from the fielding team.
End of over 16 (1 run) - tttt(61-7) RR 3.81
B. Sayers 13 (21b), R. Siggs 1 (2b) , K. Ayub 4-0-11-2

16.1 1 Rock to Siggs : That one has spun and kept low, resulting in Siggs bottom edging it to fine leg. How that missed the stumps I'll never know.
16.2 . Rock to Sayers : Drilled back at Rock who throws a boot out in a vain attempt to stop it, luckily for him the ball crashes into the stumps at the bowler's end and Sierksma swoops in to make sure there's no run.
16.3 1 Rock to Sayers : Paddled onto the legside.
16.4 . Rock to Siggs : A flighted delivery that spins viciously and beats the edge. Siggs looks bemused as he inspects the pitch.
16.5 . Rock to Siggs : Lovely cover drive but its straight to the fielder and no run is scored.
16.6 6 Rock to Siggs : Siggs charges down the track like an invading marauder and lifts a short delivery over long-on for six!
End of over 17 (8 runs) - tttt(69-7) RR 4.06
R. Siggs 8 (6b), B. Sayers 14 (23b) , T. Rock 3-0-12-1

17.1 1 Rahman to Sayers : Soft hands there. Sayers dabs that down in front of him and takes off. Siggs responds straight away and they get a quick single pretty easily in the end.
17.2 W Rahman to Siggs : [catch] Siggs looks to launch the ball over the mid-off fielder, gets it high on his bat, and it results in a simple catch to Thorn. Rahman shows Siggs the way to the pavilion.
R. Siggs c Z. Thorn b. A. Rahman 8 (7b 0x4 1x6) SR:114.29
17.3 . Rahman to Beath : [great fielding] Wonderful sprawling stop in the covers by Onyana! That looked like it was past him, but he's pulled off an outstanding save.
17.4 3 Rahman to Beath : Driven on the up by Beath. Ayub runs round the boundary and cuts the ball off well. He can't prevent the third run though.
17.5 W Rahman to Sayers : Missing off, missing leg, plumb as they get.
B. Sayers lbw b. A. Rahman 15 (25b 1x4 0x6) SR:60.00

18.1 3 Rock to Beath : Moved forward confidently to drive the ball into the covers.
18.2 . Rock to Merkel : [dropped] Merkel hits a leading edge and there is confusion on the field as Ayub and Rock both shout "MINE". The players collide and the ball spills from Ayub's hands, with Merkel looking on with amusement.
18.3 W Rock to Merkel : Quicker delivery that pitches and turns sharply. Merkel pushes forward to defend but fails to make contact and the ball hits the pad right in front of the stumps. He was beaten by the extra pace and the sharp turn there.
C. Merkel lbw b. T. Rock 2 (3b 0x4 0x6) SR:66.67

L. Beath 6 (3b), T. Rock 3.3-0-15-2 B. Sayers, K. Ayub are tired.

That ends the innings of tttt. Winners or losers will have a target of 79 to chase.

79 was an easy target for the Winners or losers espically with them experince batsman with Thomas Parker and Mark McPhreson. It was no surprise as at least once everty over their was a four in the over with the only over that didn't get it was over 6 but it didn't matter as it was a dominating win for the Winners or losers.

Code:

0.2 . Moody to McPherson : [great fielding] McPherson thumps it away through midwicket, where a diving stop from Morgan prevents the batsmen from scoring.
0.3 1 Moody to McPherson : Moody bowls that one a little slower and it's punched into the off side for 1.
0.4 . Moody to Parker : Bit wayward there from Moody and Parker sensibly ignores it.
0.5 4 Moody to Parker : Short and wide, cut away for four. Poor delivery from Moody.
0.6 1 Moody to Parker : Short of a length from Moody, Parker gets a thick outside edge as he looks to drive and the ball runs down to third man.

1.3 2 Morgan to McPherson : Played wide of cover and they'll come back for 2.
1.4 . Morgan to McPherson : [great fielding] Superb fielding by Siggs at backward point! McPherson cuts a wide ball fiercely, but Siggs throws himself to his right to cut that one off.
1.5 4 Morgan to McPherson : [Boundary Hitter] McPherson plays a cheeky late cut between gully and the slips, third man can't get around in time and four is added to the total.
1.6 4 Morgan to McPherson : [misfield] Kirby failed to get down in time and the ball races away towards the sightscreen.

M. McPherson 13 (7b), T. Parker 9 (5b) , L. Morgan 1-0-13-0

2.1 2 Moody to Parker : Fuller ball from Moody, Parker drives solidly but doesn't get the connection he wanted and Beath chases it down a fair way short of the rope.
2.2 2 Moody to Parker : A touch short. Parker, on the back foot, drives to the sweeper.
2.3 4 Moody to Parker : Too full from Moody. Parker simply leans into it and punches the delivery to long on with exceptional timing.
2.4 . Moody to Parker : Moody flights that one teasingly, Parker dances down the pitch and almost yorks himself. He ends up just dropping the bat on it defensively and retreating back to his crease.
2.5 2 Moody to Parker : Close! Edged wide of the keeper and the batsmen run 2.

3.3 1 Morgan to McPherson : Straight back down the ground and the bowler is able to get a hand on it. With Parker backing up, if that had hit, he would be gone. Luckily, it misses the stumps and the batsmen pick up a single.
3.4 4 Morgan to Parker : Too full from Morgan. Parker simply leans into it and punches the delivery to long on with exceptional timing.
3.5 . Morgan to Parker : Long hop, but it goes unpunished. Comes slowly off of the pitch and Parker mistimes his pull straight to short midwicket.
3.6 2 Morgan to Parker : Ugly looking shot there from Parker, but it lands safely, and the batsmen run through for 2.
End of over 4 (9 runs) - Winners or losers(43-0).
36 runs required from 16 overs. RR 10.75 RRR 2.25

T. Parker 28 (15b), M. McPherson 15 (9b) , L. Morgan 2-0-22-0

4.1 . Beath to McPherson : [great fielding] McPherson was about to set off but Marquet stops the ball brilliantly and prevents any runs.
4.2 1 Beath to McPherson : Run down to third man by McPherson for an easy single
4.3 6 Beath to Parker : Wow! Parker picked the line early and just slogged that back past Beath.
That is the 50 partnership (50 runs, 27b, 5x4, 1x6) SR:185.19
4.4 2 Beath to Parker : Flat, short, and thwacked away by Parker straight back over the bowler's head. Moody gives chase, and pulls it in just before the rope as the batsmen run 2.
4.5 1 Beath to Parker : Parker gets forward and pushes it just wide of mid-off. One run taken.
4.6 6 Beath to McPherson : Flighted, loopy and the perfect length to slog sweep for six! The beautiful sound of willow on leather brings the crowd to their feet.
End of over 5 (16 runs) - Winners or losers(59-0).
20 runs required from 15 overs. RR 11.80 RRR 1.33

M. McPherson 22 (12b), T. Parker 37 (18b) , L. Beath 1-0-16-0 N. Moody, L. Morgan are tired.

5.1 . Siggs to Parker : [great fielding] No run, flicked to mid-wicket and some excellent fielding by Moody saves any runs they might have got.
5.2 1 Siggs to Parker : Flighted delivery drifting in with the arm, Parker clamps down and steals a single.
5.3 2 Siggs to McPherson : He's gloved it but just wide of Scott's fingertips. Two runs.
5.4 2 Siggs to McPherson : Lovely on-drive from McPherson which beats the infield. The sweeper comes around and keeps it to 2.
5.5 3 Siggs to McPherson : Flat, short, and thwacked away by McPherson straight back over the bowler's head. Moody gives chase, and pulls it in just before the rope as the batsmen run 3.
5.6 2 Siggs to Parker : Parker had a good look around before facing that delivery, and was able to hit the gap on the off side. Tremendous poise and two more runs to the total.
End of over 6 (10 runs) - Winners or losers(69-0).
10 runs required from 14 overs. RR 11.50 RRR 0.71

T. Parker 40 (21b), M. McPherson 29 (15b) , R. Siggs 1-0-10-0

6.1 4 Beath to McPherson : Short and turning wide, McPherson cracks it very well in the gap through cover to the fence. Supreme shot from McPherson! Great chase from Siggs, but unfortunately it's in vain
6.2 1 Beath to McPherson : One run, driven through the vacant cover area to the off side sweeper out in the deep.
6.3 1 Beath to Parker : 1 run, easy single down the ground.
6.4 3 Beath to McPherson : [great fielding] And this'll be runs. Sweetly timed drive down the ground with force. Mid off gives chase and pulls it back from just inside the rope. Good work from Morgan has restricted them to 3.
6.5 1 Beath to Parker : Wristy from Parker, 1 run into the leg side.
End of over 7 (10 runs) - Winners or losers(79-0) RR 11.29
M. McPherson 37 (18b), T. Parker 42 (23b) , L. Beath 1.5-0-26-0 R. Siggs is tired.

This is going to be the schulde for this week and the start of next week

Tommorow: Youth review
Friday: Friendly Comp review
Saturday: OD review
Sunday: Skip
Monday and Tuesday: Awards cermony

Ha, I feature in your story! As manager of Mongoose XI, I might see more of you in the OD league as, unless the bot flush changes things, we're stuck in the same league again!

Other matches week 14 news
Winners or losers vs. karnatahrli (Youth 5.3)
In a easy match for the Winners or losers as they had already promoted into divison 4 even before this match. It didn't matter if the karnathrli won the toss because it would be the win. Andrew Mullooly smacked 188 not out which featured 17 fours and 2 sixes. Also the debut of Siyabongi Slwana took home a centruy which featured 5 sixes and fours as the score finished on 369. All the bowlers took home at least 2 wickets as the karnatharli was bowled for a silly score of just 42. Thats right 42.

The space docks vs. Winners or losers (OD 6.20)
This match was a tough one for the Winners or losers as they already couldn't promote through to divison 5. The space docks showed my teams bowling their destructive way as they went at 6.98 an over with wickets falling at intervals. It didn't matter for Asirisa Shadilya as he hit 131 not out in a good innings. Even though he was expense, John Hamilton took home the most wickets by taking 3 in the innings. The Winners or losers were bowled over for only the second time this season as they fell for just 212 in their 38 overs that the oppent bowled and it would be worst if it wasn't for Mark McPherson taking 81 runs from just 74 balls as he was the only one to get past 30.

In other news my senior team won our friendly match against the Snowtop Hammerheads by 2 wickets. After that win it will help my SS FTP standing to number 1 and one of only 2 teams that have 2 wins.

Weclome to the awards cermony where we will review all the winners. Ok the first award was given out not long ago with Andrew Mullooly taking home the Best youth player award after beating some tough competition from Gaurav Chopra.

Now we go to the David Warner innings of the season award which will be the best batting during the season and the nominates are Timothy Rock against myteam, Zain Naeem against little people and Andrew Mullooly against karnathari. I'll got the voting from the Winners or losers public and the winner with 55% goes too..................
Timothy Rock 182 against myteam (OD)

Timothy Rock talked about the award

Good result there from the winner. Now we go to Round 13 voting for the T20 and this was the top 3 after Round 12

1. Babu Dzingai 16 votes
2. Rick Brookes 11 votes
3. Rick Hansen 8 votes
3. Zain Naeem 8 votes

That means if Babu Dzingai gets only 1 vote from this game or Rick Brookes not getting 2 votes or more than it will be a victory for Babu Dzingai. We will start with the 1 vote and that person goes to Zain Naeem (9 votes 3rd). Babu Dzingai won't be getting the votes because he only scored 33 fantasy points in this match. Ok the 2 votes goes to Rick Hansen (10 votes 3rd). The second to last 3 votes goes to.......................................Zane Thorn (6 votes 5th). So that means Babu Dzingai has won the T20 best player award by 5 votes and with one match to spare.

Babu Dzingai talked about the award

We will finish the youth awards and the best batsman in the youth award goes to Andrew Mulloolym with his massive 1017 runs in only 13 innings while the best bowler goes to Lynee Eime with hin taking 24 wickets in only 11 games at a average of only 14.88. Good job to both of you winning those awards there.

Andrew Mullooly and Lynee Eime talked about the awards

After that one it now goes to the OD Round 15 voting with these top 3 at the moment

1. Rick Hansen 13 votes
2. Zain Naeem 11 votes
3. Babu Dzingai 9 votes

This could be intersting round 15 voting. Anyway the 1 vote goes to a opener whos name is one of the Rick brothers and that Rick is Rick Brookes (7 votes 5th) which unfortualy means that he is out of the overall standings for the seniors because there are 6 votes avalibe for the last round. Who will get the 2 votes. This human being took 6 for 32 in only 10 overs and could of been better, thats right I am talking about the fast Babu Dzingai (11 votes 2nd). We have a new leader as he leads now by 1 vote with the human being of Zain Naeem after a 205 runs in the innings. Well done for taking the lead Zain Naeem (14 votes 1st). That means we will take a break and after this it will be the rest of the awards.

Welcome back to the award ceremony where we have 7 awards and of course the big one which it is the Best Senior player award. Ok we go to the Shane Warne award for the best bowling of the season and these are the nominates.

Babu Dzingai 5-19 against JOHNJIM1234567890 (T20)
Dennis Holmes 5-46 against The Aussie Bradmans (OD)
Rick Hansen 4-19 against Multiple Scoregasms (T20)

And the winner is
Rick Hansen
Winner speak about winning the award
We go to the Best OD players with the stats and the batting winner is Zain Naeem. The bowling winner with 25 wickets goes to Rick Hansen.

Rick Hansen and Zain Naeem talked about their trophies

Time for the last T20 votes even though we already know our winner. Babu Dzingai only needs 2 votes from this match to take home the senior title. I will start with the 1 vote. This bowler bowed brilliantly as his economy was only 2.75. I am talking about the person named Kaisar Ayub (1 vote 16th). This person is an opener and batted with Mark McPherson. What's the use because the person Thomas Parker (4 votes 6th). The final 3 votes for season 15 is no other than the T20 best and fairest with his human being name is Babu Dzingai (19 votes 1st). So that means Babu Dzingai is the Senior Best and Fairest winner with 30 votes from the 29 games that had been played.

Babu Dzingai talks about winning the Senior Best and Fairest trophy

While were still talking about T20, I will review the best batsman and bowler. The best batsman who will take the Nathan Sarvoich T20 Batting trophy and the winner with 613 runs to their name is Rick Brookes. While the Harold Illman bowling trophy goes to no other then the T20 award winner. Babu Dzingai

Rick Brookes and Babu Dzingai talked about winning the trophies

The final award given out tonight will be the OD trophy for the best player and because we are running out of time then I will just say the winner and these are the first 2 votes

2: John Hamilton
1: Rick Brookes

The finals 3 votes of the evening goes to Mark McPherson which means Zain Naeem has won the Best OD player trophy. Well Done

Zain Naeem talked about winning the Best OD player trophy

That is all of the awards for tonight and just in case you missed it, these were the winners

Gerard Lewis OD Batting award - Zain Naeem
Zane Thorn OD Bowling award - Rick Hansen
Nathan Sarovich T20 Batting award - Rick Brookes
Harold Illman T20 Bowing award - Babu Dzingai
Rick Brookes Youth Batting award - Andrew Mullooly
Wilfred Castles Youth Bowling award - Lynee Eime
David Warner innings of the season award - Timothy Rock against myteam
Shane Warne best bowling of the season award - Rick Hansen against Multiple Scoregasms
Best Senior player award (both t20 and ODI) - Babu Dzingai
Best Youth player award - Andrew Mullooly
Best T20 player award - Babu Dzingai

Week 1 news
Winners or losers vs. Sydney Avengers (T20 5.8)
The senior team got their season off to a brilliant start by bowling out Sydney Avengers for only 85 runs in a shocking performance from the oppisition as all of the main bowlers took home at least 1 wicket on the table with Rick Hansen dominated the bowling with 3/20 of 3 overs which was good in his way. The batting was easier with the small target as Zain Naeem and Rick Brookes did the damage as the won team by 8 wickets.
Votes: Zain Naeem 3 votes, Rick Hansen 2 votes, Babu Dzingai 1 vote
Ratings: Winners or losers 133,534 to Sydney Avengers 97,714

Winners or losers vs. Fresh (Youth 4.5)
The youth team was a weaker squad but they still took home their first win of the season with a 126 runs differents as the Fresh team was bowled for a miserable 64. My youth team batted first on a sticky wicket and the main man for the innings was Ariyasiri Kalum which scored 83 runs as other batsman made starts but didn't get a 50. Darren Kane from the Fresh Youth team took home 5 wickets. My bowlers were very economy good as the expenise player named Romesh Miskin had an economy of only 3.25 as each bowler took home at least a wicket.
Votes: Lynee Eime 3 votes, Ariyasiri Kalum 2 votes, Leslie Yates 1 vote
Rating: Winners or losers 78,737 to Fresh 64,278
