Not that good lower order unforunately for Bengal. They should of made 400 easily but they had a mini collapse and now have to bowl well once again. Service are leading by 105 runs but only have 6 wickets in hand. If Bengal can get them out for less than 350 then they have a real chance of a win.

At least Bengal held on for the draw in the end after the Service batsmen started the day wonderfully. If the Service bowlers did their job at the other end then maybe they could of recorded a victory but it wasn't to be. A fair result I'd say.

Chakrabory was great for Bengal in their run chase and scored very quickly but he didn't have enough time. A good game but Kumar deserved the Man Of The Match award in my opinion thanks to his 120 and 4/105. He was very good for Service.

Team Bengal reached Chennai on the 2nd of January. We had our match from the 9th of January 2009 in M. A. Chidambaram Stadium against Kerela.

7 days passed.....

I had come to M. A. Chidambaram Stadium for the first time in my life. We arrived at the M. A. Chidambaram Stadium at 7 in the morning. We all left the bus and headed for our locker room. I saw a locker on which a name was written. It was written S.Das. I saw a key on the table with the name S.Das.

?I always dreamt of having my own locker? I said to myself.

I picked up the key and headed for the locker.

I opened my locker and inside I found a piece of paper on which it was written:-

I was so happy to see my name in the playing XI. I was batting at no. 4 but it did not matter. A jersey of Bengal U-19 was also kept in my locker. The no. of my jersey was 9. I quickly changed into my playing outfit. I saw S.Chakraborty leaving the room for the toss. I heard an announcement that.......
