If you can confirm this then I have no problems with just having the leagues in the site.It actually will make our jobs easier as well. All we'd have to do is post updates on the group tables regularly and make sure that everyone's played their round in time.I'll have to remove the nationality tag from everyone though and there wont be a national table.
well i know as i am frmo the stickcricket forum, if you have a look around im sure you could find someone saying so, if you were to email mute on the forum im sure he could tell you so, all players are exactly the same, i shall try and find a quote of him saying so and give a 'URL'
EDIT:
found it, mute is one of the highest members in Stick Sports and here is him saying it:
I'll back you up on that too. I've been playing SC since it first came out and have posted 260+ totals with every single team. Sometimes I'll purposely lose a few wickets at the beginning so I can chase a score with my tail enders, its quite easy.
Fair enough in that case.I'll just keep leagues and the tables in that can take care of itself.Im removing the rules thread and come up with an updated one once the group draws are completed.
Anyway here's the plan Ive got then.Tommorow once the registrations close around noon time,I'll be evening the teams into seeds(based on scores),so that there are 4 different seeds with same number of teams in all. After that I'll be putting each of them into a hat and drawing out groups. Each group will have a Level 1,2,3 and 4 team. After this I'll be posting up threads for each group with the league passwords so that all players can join up their respective groups. Also apart from the screenshot thing, the other rules will remain the same(number of rounds, time for each round, each group moderated etc.).So basically Round 1 should be starting tommorow as soon as the leagues are formed.(if all goes to plan).
EDIT:Would anyone be interested in watching the group drawings live in the PlanetCricket Chatroom tommorow,I could arrange a time(sometime around noon if in India, morning in the UK and eveningish in Aus) if there's enough interest.
Thats up to you.Even if you dont,we'll be knowing what your score is as one of the mods(me or chez) will be monitoring every league group. As I said earlier once I form the leagues(most probably tommorow) I'll let you know the league id's and passwords,so that contestants can join their respective leagues.
Myself or Chez. We'll just be part of the groups to monitor the tables(and post them here occassionaly) and keep a eye.Our scores apart from the leagues that we're actually a part of wont be taken into consideration for the leagues we're moderating.
