General Questions Thread

Thanks angy.

Yeah, Iam not going to go crazy and blow it all on one player. Iam going to keep the money in the bank, and buy a good player for a mill.

How much should I save up to? Should I save up to 2mil and then spend 1 mil, and keep savin up to 2 mil and spending 1 mil, or should I just keep saving and saving and saving?

I currently have 488k

Like I said, your short term goal is to be competitive, not just try to create good players one by one; your team won't make any money in the meantime. Getting rid of anyone weaker than mediocre/competent/mediocre will be both affordable and a big leap in performance. For 1 mil, you could maybe get a soft strong player, or just a decent proficient; someone worth a bit over 1 season of training. He probably wouldn't be godlike enough to get you out of the hole and no matter what, you need to find those 11 players some time. You'd be much better off with 3 good respectables, or probably something like 2 respectables and 5 competents.

Depends what type of player you are looking for. 1 mill only really gets you a strong/med player. If you want a decent player you would need to save up to 3 mill then spend 2 mill.

@Jordan I would do what Angy is suggesting by getting comp and resp. Thats basically what I did but my resp were quite a bit cheaper. Then start moving onto the good players.

Does anybody use pinch hitters? I tryed one today with no sucess but I admit the orders were wrong

Well its an easy win so why not experiment

I only experiment against teams a little weaker than me, and only small experiments like different bowling orders or a shift in the batting lineup. No point experimenting against a way inferior team or a bot.

Say I wanted to restart and play with a new team in a new region...How would you do this? Dont tell me I have to wait 7 weeks or somethin'...Zorax?

You have to wait. Although if you BT Mail a GM or Mod there, and tell them you are willingly giving up your team to get a new one, then they may reduce the time you have to wait.

I suggest you don't re-start though.

Yeah, I probably won't. I was just wondering if ever I really wanted to.

Did you do the BT Mail a GM or Mod technique?

It'd be heaps hard for you at the start, mainly because it will be impossible with you losing 50-100k a week. Even without coaches.
