No refuelling. Good or bad?

Not as poor as in Australia, they have a new diffuser. Impossible to judge on practice, Williams were strong in Australia and had poor results.

As for Lewis' disqualification, exactly the right result, he shouldn't have withheld/lied to the officials. I don't think this is th eend of the saga, either.

What you guys think about Hamilton and McLaren being disqualified from the Australian GP? I think it's fair enough considering they lied to the stewards, although I don't think it's Hamilton's fault. What a performance by Trulli in the end then, starting from the pits and finishing 3rd.

Ferrari look fast in practice, as do Brawn and Red Bull. McLaren again look poor...

New diffuser so looks like finally teams are accepting it. The Hamilton-Mclaren issue is a disgrace.

Fair point, although they were fast again yesterday...

I am starting to warm to Jake Humphrey it takes a lot to shake off the childrens TV image and after doing the Superbowl and the F1 hes starting to get rid of it.

I'm glad it's back on the BBC (can't beat that great theme tune. It's from the ending of a Fleetwood-Mac track called 'The Chain' - and no bloody adverts either).

Yep, best theme tune for the Grand Prix

Gawd I remember him from his CBBC days. He's gone up in the world now though

I reckon Alonso will finish in the top 4 tomorrow.
I don't :p

He's not looked like showing any real pace all weekend and he's not feeling 100%. Brawn, Toyota, Williams & Red Bull look far stronger. I suspect Ferrari and BMW have a better chance of making top 4 than Alonso too. The only chance he has is if it rains. His chance is probably equal to anyone's in that case.

No-one else watching this?
Two weeks in a row they've been caught out by starting the races late for TV audiences.
Looks like Button will take top spot though.

I'm watching it, got some family members over at the race. Button was fantastic in those couple of free laps he got while other drivers were pitting! Brawn really are dominating at the moment!

Well the usual chaos. The only thing for certain about the points reworking was that Lewis would end up with less :p
Also Ross Brawn - shocking catch with the champagne...

barmyarmy added 8 Minutes and 7 Seconds later...

Also BBC didn't show the constructors points again. I'm not going mad!

i don't understand wht you mean by Lewis ending up with less?

Ive been watching f1 since 1997. And I have never seen the FIA act so biased as they have done in these last two races.

Whenever hamilton does better than the ferraris, they always try to find a way to penalise hamilton.

Btw, Alonso went up in my books during qualifying. Apparently he has an ear infection and still managed to qualify in the top 10.

It is great to see jenson button doing so well again but i dont see why they should halve the points. I think that if the race has gone more than half distance, then the drivers should get all of the points.

Its time for Piquet jr and ecclestone to quit. Both terrible at their jobs
