No refuelling. Good or bad?

Really? I thought Red Bull would struggle to fit one as their car has innovative pull-rod suspension and it would require a complete re-design. Hope they don't get too focused on the diffuser issue and change their suspension, because they clearly have a very good car without the split diffuser.

Looks like KERS is dying on its ass.... shame!!

Yeh, apparently they'll have one in for either the next race or the race after. Not sure which, but they are definitely getting one. I don't know why they were that bothered about getting the diffuser banned. They are as fast as the teams with them anyway.

Vettel has said that "Red Bull can become the best team on the grid", and the Red Bull boss has said "The car's been very good in high speed corners and its got a great aerodynamic package. Imagine when we get our double diffuser."

Another fantastic qualifying, and great to see the Toyota's on the front row. We've already had three 1-2's from teams this season, it's been great. Vettel in 3rd just ahead of button. Set up to be a great race, on probably my favourite circuit.

Sakhir is one of my favourite tracks as well. And well done to Toyota on getting their first ever front row start.

This season is turning out to be one of the best ever, if not the best!!

That Brawn car is looking unstoppable.. But Button has to take credits though for his fantastic driving. :clap Very disappointing to see Ferrari struggling to the core.

I think this was the first time you can say Button won that race for Brawn, rather than Button won that in a Brawn. Good race for Kimi as well.

Not a great race for overtaking though. Very little, if any, after the first lap. No doubts now that Brawn can win the title.

lol yeah, he managed to get the championship points somehow. The expectations on the Ferrari drivers have gone down(almost Nil) this time. Rubens was fantastic as well with 3 pit stops strategies.

Is it only me or everyone able to see Hamilton with less aggression this season? I remember so well that he was following " do or die " policy last time but... he is looking to me as a quiet driver.

No, but then I don't like many of these modern circuits. Also the tyres don't help, with Bridgestone having to bring compounds 2 stops apart, the cars never quite seem to be on the right tyres for the job in hand. Pretty much all the rule changes were designed to help overtaking and they are being thrown away by the tyres.

Not saying that they won't/can't but my worry for Brawn would be that they possibly don't have the resources to develop the car as much as others. They started the season with easily the best car, but it was designed and built with Honda money. Look at how much McLaren have caught up with only minor modifications, I expect the bigger teams will make bigger inroads come the European season.

Helped Kova loads, hasn't it? ;)

They expect to save another .5 seconds in the next few races due to changes.

I've actually got another niggle about the commentary. After Jensen came out the pits the first time the current positions came up and it was obvious that he had just leap-frogged the two Toyotas into 1st place. It took nearly an entire lap before Martin Brundle (wouldn't have expected Legard to cotton on at all) noticed.
I do find it frustrating to be sitting watching the screen and thinking "when are they actually going to mention that x has happened?". With the extra data they get they should be ahead of the viewers not a lap behind.

Commentators have been late mentioning things like that since Motorsport has been televised. My personal favourite is when they show a replay and the commentators think its realtime!

Yeah same here. I usually put commentary off so that only the track sound coming from the feed is heard. Realised I could do that only at the beginning of this season.:D

I am with Kev on the big boys coming back when the European races start. I think Ferrari will be having their new package in Spain.

15th anniversary of Senna's death today. For me one of those "Man landed on the moon" moments, I'll always remember where I was when the greatest driver I ever saw in my life died.

(No, I dont remember the first moon landing before anyone asks!)

Fernando Alonso fastest in third practice, beating last year's pole timing as well.

Qualifying starts in less than 30 minutes. Expect another pole for Button or Vettel.

Good day for Force India cars yesterday. First time both cars make it to second round of qualifying.
Brawn just keep on rolling though.
Another thing he new look cars look so old school.
