Group E - England, India, New Zealand, South Africa

they got over 160 now..

we won't win..we haven't passed 135 against a proper team yet..which is a complete joke..

they can't compete cos other teams hit way more boundaries..if KP fails we won't get more than 135-140

rest of the team is crap at slogging and thats all u have to do..

31-4 after 6 overs..

164 after 20...

i will offer ?100 of my own cash to the England player who bowls a yorker in the last 3-4 overs..

not that that's bold, cos i'd never loose any money..
lol

It's not that they're crap at slogging, they're just crap. They are mostly picked for their aggression, but only three or four of them are capable batsmen. If you're 2/80, even 3/80 after 10 overs, then you can get away with batsmen only facing 10 balls and slogging their hearts out. It's a whole other kettle of fish to bring those guys in first and be 3/20. Then your middle has to recover and consolidate, wasting the chancier deliveries.

same old pattern..no aggression during the fielding restrictions..

letting the run rate get up to 10 rpo..

now i am waiting forthe early loss of wickets..

why on earth don't england atack in the restrictions..if sooo annoying !!!

As I said before and would like to say again, England will win comprehensively, it won't even be close. You cannot only win a match by just slogging, one can win with just playing proper cricket. That is what i mean :)

If nothing else, it's better than they've previously tried to do. And there was the kicker. Hold the partnership together and pow! The first change bowler is a sitting duck.

Also keep in mind the power of batsmen with their backs to the wall. Last night, Pakistan took 11 rpo in the last 5 overs against Sri Lanka. Earlier, South Africa took 12 rpo off England. India muscled more than 15 rpo in the final five against NZ.

Gone. Wicket Falls. Vettori picks up Solanka trying to drive upishly down the ground. Simple catch taken.

My name is Kevin Pieterson; and my favourite shot is... the blooock shot. Classic!

I'm surprised none of them have made mention of any 12th Man-style made up shots like the 'reverse pull'.

a few quiet over..a few wickets..we WILL loose by 15-20 runs..

other teams often score heavily in the last few overs.. england DON'T ...EVER..thye don't know how to do it..

What the hell! That was extreme. Maddy smashes that waaaaaaaaaaaaay over midwicket for 6 and I think that's running away back to Australia.

And he's out 2 balls later on 50. Terrible running there. That's not good.

It seems England had a great opening partnership. It's now 87-2 with about 9.75 runs an over needed. It's gettable if they stick on.

But by now Collingwood is gone.

England in massive trouble now. Collingwood now gone.
They now need around 10 an over. Going to be really hard. Great work by the kiwis.
They still have KP there. He's their main man.
