Group E - England, India, New Zealand, South Africa

yeah! first target of 150+ reached although we could have got more runs (but credit the SA bowlers for not allowing us to do so).

something to fight with.. i hope the indian bowlers vindicate my faith in them today. our fielding and bowling has to be top notch.. joginder has to recapture the bowling form that allowed him to get 200 first class wickets at an average of 19. there cant be a bigger inspiration than this. tottering at 33/3 and some 40 odd for 4, india have again managed to bring things back on track and have posted 150.

What an innings by Rohit Sharma. Playing his first international match, playing in a fast forward version of cricket, playing South Africa in a crucial tie which India have to win to make the semifinals, playing under the pressure of having your best batsman ruled out of the match, etc. It was a magnificient innings and he has showed what a player he can turn out to be for India! Salute to you Rohit! Dinesh Karthik under severe pressure. Sharma could be drafted in for the final 4 ODI's against Australia.

Chak De, Oh Chak De India! Come on guys!

@ Sai, nice to see your optimism. I also like to see Indian win here.. My heart says India should win. But my brain strongly says, SA are going to win with ease like Aussies did today.. and not only that, from the way they(SA) are playing in this series, they deserve to win this Twenty20 WCup.

Even within myself, there is a good battle going on between mind and heart..but am going to sleep now though.

yay at least dinesh karthik wont be playing anymore ODI's

Yes, brilliant innings by Rohit. :hpraise But regarding Karthik, its not his fault in demanding him to bat in the position which he is not comfortable with. India always have this bad habit. They pushed Sachin lower down the order and he struggled.. Now they are doing other way on Karthik. With what i have seen from Karthik, he has an excellent tempo and would be very effective to come after Dhoni.

Same goes to Raina. Why didnt we give more chances to him?

Karthik has to bat well at whatever position he is given. He didnt, and so he is in danger.

Sreesanth starting with 5 wides?? Ugly ugly stuff!

Oh god! Crap yaar. 11 off just 3 balls due to those damn wides.

don't think india have enuff runs here..

1. saffer are so strong batting with many hittings..

2. india's bowling is poor especially if we (ENG) can hit 200 V them..

i expect SAF to win with ~2 overs to spare

Smith GONE! RP on fire.... yeah India! what a start!

BUT keep it up plz! we need a win!

Indian Faster bowlers? nah, i don't trust them :p Some minute hopes on Irfan though. ( Are there any faster bowlers first? :spy :D )

I believe in them.
