Hang on. By 'We' you surely mean your national team right? And your national team is India as you are in fact an Indian. So how can India not play cricket like India?

Thats a tough question. But WC cant answer it.:p

My nationlity is Indian, but i dont take India as an national team for me

i support Butt for ODIs and Test as a opener he is young and has potential to be a good opener in the future but he just doesnt cut it as a opener in 20/20 and Nazir should be droped all together he basicly worthless, all he does is swing and hope to conect with one to take it for a six.
Yeah, Butt is young and a strong argument against the 'young man's game' statement. He is a player with the potential to succeed, but not all the shots. Particularly as an opener; even more so as a left-hander; he should work hard on punishing the deliveries at his pads. Right arm bowlers like to swing the ball in and making it expensive for them changes the dynamic.

Nazir works for me not as an opener, but in the lower order. For one I don't think he would have gotten out like he did last night with the field pushed back. Being able to hit just one or two sixes in a few balls would be very advantageous.

I've definitely firmed on the top order I'd like to see. Shoaib Malik finally showed his talent last night and Misbah continued form. The top four must be Pakistan's four most damaging players and I think we can be confident now who they are.

main order
Shahid Afridi
Shoaib Malik
Younus Khan
Misbah-ul-Haq

lower order
Kamran Akmal - drop him down lower when only hard hitting is needed
batsman x - Imran Nazir? strong argument for using a specialist fielder who can throw the bat
all rounder x - Fawad Alam/Yasir Arafat

bowlers
Sohail Tanvir
Umar Gul
Mohammad Asif

well it wouldnt be a bad thing to try Afridi as a opener in 20/20 but i wouldnt do it in this tournament, id maybe use Hafeez and Butt as openers for the rest of the tournament and go maybe with somthing like this...

Hafeez
Butt
Younis
Malik
Misbah
Afridi
Kamran
Nazir
Tanvir(or whoever they choose)
Gul
Asif

i think just switching Nazir and Afridi spots doesnt make a diference because latelly with afridi its been hit and miss, 4 out of 5 times he gets out for a small score and than once in a while he gets a good innings so it would be kinda same thing as having Nazir as a opener. like i said in my previous post i dont thing Butt cuts it as a opener in 20/20 but for now they just have to stick with him, and i would really like to see Butt given a long run in ODIs and Tests and if he doesnt succed well than he can be replaced.

I also really liked what Malik did with Gul saving him for the end of the innings so that he can have a good bowler to go after the big hitters.

Malik has won the toss and will bowl first. But I would say they're playing in Johannesburg, so it shouldn't make a difference if they bowl or bat first.

Aussies batting. Our aim will to make 170 plus. Anything lower will be a dissapointmant IMO.

Surprise surprise.... No Hogg and Hilfy.

Aussie is again playing without a spinner :( Dont trust on Clarke and Symonds  that kind of spin will not help us

I can't wait to see Asif to Hayden.

I can see that Sohail guy troubling us.

Get Hayden out early & you expose a very underplayed Australia lineup & an Adam Gilchrist not in the best of form.

Gilchrist was almost gone there with that pull shot. Butt needed a full stretch dive to catch that one.

Tanvir gets Hayden! Great wicket.

Eh. Hayden gone. :(

Early loss. Not good. Eeep.

Ponting will need to play a good knock here. I wonder how we'll go.
