But one thing that occurs to me is the fact that the "Expellliarmus" spell is quite significant in the plot, would you like to elaborate Colin? :p

Well, he uses it to defeat Voldemort at the end but that's mainly because Voldemort was using a wand that 'belonged' to Harry. He also gets told off for using it by Lupin when he is escaping from Privet Drive as it identified him as the real Harry Potter and not one of the decoys.

Does Potter become Minister of Magic at the end?

I thought that Ron dies....
And Harry has a couple of kids I think.

Yes I read the end. :)

Harry Potter & Ginny Weasely have kids together, named after Harry's parents, Dumbledore and Snape. Ron Weasely & Hermione Granger also have children together.

For anyone that cares...

Teddy Lupin (b. 1998)
Victoire Weasley (b. 1998?) Fleur and Bill's daughter?
James Potter (b. 2004?)
Albus Severus Potter (b. 2006)
Rosie Weasley (b. 2006) Ron and Hermiones's daughter
Scorpio Malfoy (b. 2006)
Lily Potter (b. 2008)
Hugo Weasley (b. 2008) Ron and Hermione's son

Ok, I have a timeline issue.
In the book Dumbledore and Grindelwald are great friends as 17 year olds. Dumbledore is born in 1844 so it stands to reason that Grindelwald is born around then too. In Rita Skeeter's book it says that Dumbledore waited for 5 years before confronting and defeating Grindelwald and that they were both young men. According to the official timeline (and confimed by book 1) Dumbledore didn't defeat Grindelwald until 1945 - when they were both 101...
I think JKR may have messed up on the date of Grindelwald's defeat and meant for it to be some time in the 1860s or 70s. That said the Hallows symbol as recognised by Krum has very clear parallels with the swastika and fits in well with the corrupted meaning of then symbol being defeated in 1945.

Acquired the leak but the quality wasn't really worth it to destroy my eyes when I had just two days to go ahead and make the purchase. Damn England-India series is going to get in the way. :p

I have just pre ordered mine lol. Just 10 hours more :D

@Colin - Dare you tell me anything :D And if you do i'll hack pc and shut down the site :D I would even complain to Jk rowling lol :D

I've now re-read the book and trust me it's bloody good.

 Goodness Colin! Just how fast do you read?? And how long did you spend on the computer reading it?? I manages to read the first 10 chapters, but will be grateful when I get my hand on the copy I preordered last month. But I agree with you, this is perhaps the best book out of the Harry Potter series. Although I seem to find some resemblance of this book to T.A Barron's Lost Year's of Merlin series, but that's just me.

One more thing, when you merge the two threads after a few weeks, could you please also change the poll?? And I need to change my vote if I may.

What's all this about a vague, squinting leak? The pdf Colin sent me this morning was very very easy to read.
