It is most likely that you have read a fanfiction instead of the actual copy, but several members on this forum can assure you that you're completely wrong on that fact.

And if you have any real spoilers to share, please post it in the Deathly Hallows spoilers thread for now.

Got the book today, didn't read it on PC screen this time as I am not so excited about it :p My partner is reading it so, will wait for her to finish it.

Just got the book.
Its really hard to avoid all these spoilers!
I saw the movie as well. It was pretty damn good (number 5).
Can't wait to read it!!

How have you read this before the release Colin?

Well the purchasing of the book was quite anticlimactic. Spent more time in the car than at the bookstore, and the bookstores about a minute away (took more than that cause of the traffic, though). Read it cover to cover all day and now I will head over to the other thread. :)

Well, that book was pretty good. I was pretty much oblivious to my surroundings all day today. Timeline-issues notwithstanding, I found the ending and the little book a little unpredictable and unbelievable (although I enjoyed it).

Twas a good read and I believe it more or less tied up all the loose threads that wishers for another installment may have been clutching for.

are they releasing it at different times in other countries??

I now have loads of people to back me up when I say Hermione doesn't die in the book! Where's my vCash? :p

You pretty much summed up my day there. Like you, I felt that the plot was somewhat far-fetched, even in Harry's magic world. Still, I think it was a rather appropriate conclusion to the series.

Did anyone else feel that the last line left a very little opening for future novels, even if JKR decides not to pursue them?
