Well, I think we have kind of created confusion for ourselves by posting 'Jester' thing. Now, even if Matt is not a jester and he's mafia he will just keep posting such idiotic posts. We'll keep fearing if we lynch him game will be over and if he turns out to be a mafia, we'll just be at a receiving end. Also, I've read that Jester role is mostly in short games and not in such a long game. Who was the one to bring up this jester thing? Might well be mafia, a very smart one too protecting one mafia very cunningly.

The post restriction was done by a mafia member on me. It wasn't in my role. It was done on Day 1 itself so its the reason why I can't post much. If you ask how much, well only Spin knows. He randomly generates for each phase. But if I'm close to my post limit, Spin will alert me.

My character is Professor Flitwick, Team Hogwarts aligned Tiny charms Teacher.
The reason why I was reluctant to role-claim was because it was my 1st game and also I had a cop role last time.

Alright Chewie started this Jester thing.

Jester's occasionally have post restrictions. It would explain why he isn't defending himself.

Here he's trying to prove that Matt is a jester in a very subtle manner giving the reason of post restriction for his silence.

If he was mafia, then he would be trying to save his skin/the other mafia would be telling to shut the hell up.

This I feel any mafia will do, a valid point. But, this is where he is maybe outwitting us. Playing a different game altogether.

Write up's perfectly fine. And don't tell the cop what to do.

Tries to silence Bevab when he posts about the writeup. Everyone will agree writeup didn't help townies at all. How is it perfectly fine, Chewie?

My thoughts regarding Matt are, that he wants us to lynch him. Therefore we will not.

Here again, cunningly trying to save a possible mafia (his partner?).

Here's something else that kind of backs up what User's saying regarding Chewie:

I think they would have waited for a while though - when everyone was targetting Matt, they would have jumped on there (unless he does turn out to be mafia). They would only have voted paki when it was obvious that people were changing their votes towards him. So I doubt the first few and the last vote would be mafia. But there are very likely to be mafia in the middle somewhere.

Chewie was the first one to lynch Paki, followed by BKB, and p23456789 was the last. Interestingly Matt maintained his vote on User the whole time.

Chewie is looking mighty suspicious but something about Matt's behavior seems kinda strange can't put my finger on it though.I am gonna think more about this first thing tomorrow morning so I won't be posting anything while I am sleeping.

Very well done User, Infact, Chewie was top of my list of suspects which I didn't reveal earlier, so that he doesn't become careful.
All his actions have been neutral. There has been no substantial contribution, and if you read back, you'll realize, he's looking very mafia.

Look at his defence of Voldemort, trying to create fear in the townie's mind.

"But I do agree that he probably wouldn't be night-killable."

"He'd be the godfather. Turn up as townie under investigation, kills one person at night (or at least gets Nagini to kill someone), looking to recruit someone at night (not too sure who this would be...)."

Let us come to two new people acting 'we don't know each other' and 'we are really discussing' when actually what they have just done is create confusion all over. Anybody noticed Smurf and Hedger? The very very polite discussions? 'This is my first game', 'I couldn't have believed this is your first game' and all?

Smurf very nicely puts his suspicions on me and Varun in some page. He maybe wants to get his (assuming as a mafia) targets ready after dealing with other two (Matt and p23456789)?

FOS - Hedger and Smurf.

That is a very logical argument on why the discussion between me and Hedge seems suspicoius. But it was just a pure discussion - no hidden meaning in those messages.

As for my reason for the suspicions on you and Varun, I even said they weren't serious allegations.

No-one else seems that suspicious atm. The next closest would be Varun and User. Varun for having no real reason to be suspicous of me, and User for having a very weak reason to be suspicous of Varun.

But maybe that's reading a bit too much into it. Matt and p23456789 are the prime suspicous targets. Personally, would get rid of Matt now before his antics cause some real havoc in the later stages.

Adityia wanted to know who else could be suspicious, and you had suspected Varun for having a poor reason to be suspicous of me. And that made you a little suspicous as well - cos you had an equally bad reason to be suspicous of Varun.

But you do bring excellent arguments about Chewie.

Reason:

I can't decide what to do with Matt. On one hand, we have two very suspicious characters (p-number+Bevab), and I'm pretty convinced they're mafia. On the other hand, they can be innocent. Worst-case scenario - the above two, or atleast one, turns out to be innocent. That leaves us with fewer townies to discuss things logically, and gives more voting power to the irresponsible Matt. If it comes to that, the remaining townies will be waging a war on two sides - Matt and the mafia.

Unless Matt posts something of a helpful nature and gives a reasonable defence, I fear us letting him off the hook now will come back to bite us in the ass later.
