Chewie
BCCI President
A very interesting turn of events and I will try my best to answer your problems about me.
And there is nothing wrong with finding potential roles for a player, particularly when the majority were leaning towards lynching him - I just found a valid excuse that it might not be the best idea to lynch him, as a precaution.
Jesters often do have a post restriction, and it was a suggestion as to why he hasn't be posting much. Perfectly valid point.
Why would Matt want us to lynch him if he were a mafia member? The mafia start of outnumbered by far, and it would make things even worse if one of their members is lynched in the first day phase. His team mates would be trying to get him to post sensibly as much as they could.
It is perfectly fine for the moderator of a mafia game to include as much information, or to not include as much information as they want. MaD and Hedger were particularly generous, but if you look at other games, quite often you will find that players are only given this much information. Bevab telling the cop to suggest a name who has come up as anti-town focuses attention on the cop and on players who bring up people's names. I'd prefer if the cop did it as quietly as possible, but now that Bevab has mentioned this twice, mafia will be even more on the lookout for people who are suggesting people's names.
Why should we lynch someone who wants to be lynched? We're just falling into his trap.
I had genuine reason to suspect that Bevab was mafia beforehand, before he made his role claim. I do feel that the post restriction part of his claim is correct. Not too sure about him being Flitwick, but I don't see him as the obvious choice for mafia any more. Unlynch: Bevab
Why would a mafia member be the first person to initiate a vote on another mafia member. That would be extremely counter-intuitive.
Can you explain why I look very mafia? I also feel that I have been the one contributing the most here. I started the lynch on paki, and brought up valid points against Bevab and p23456789. Bevab has gone under the radar now somewhat following his role claim which everyone seems to agree is plausible.
With regards to Voldemort, p23456789 mentioned that it is likely that he is not able to be killed due to his horcruxes. I agreed with this, but he would still be able to be lynched, though probably not night-killable. Basically, I'm trying to hint to people that if they are a town-aligned killer that if they cannot kill someone there is a likelihood that they could be Voldemort. And why wouldn't Voldemort be the godfather? I'm trying to explain what his role would be.
I can't really understand why you guys all think I'm mafia. User's main points were that I was trying to defend Matt by taking attention away from him. Why then, would I defend someone whose alignment is unknown, and decide to lynch Paki, who is now known to be a mafia member? Why would I lead the lynching on a mafia member if I were a member of the mafia?
Alright Chewie started this Jester thing.
And there is nothing wrong with finding potential roles for a player, particularly when the majority were leaning towards lynching him - I just found a valid excuse that it might not be the best idea to lynch him, as a precaution.
Here he's trying to prove that Matt is a jester in a very subtle manner giving the reason of post restriction for his silence.
Jesters often do have a post restriction, and it was a suggestion as to why he hasn't be posting much. Perfectly valid point.
This I feel any mafia will do, a valid point. But, this is where he is maybe outwitting us. Playing a different game altogether.
Why would Matt want us to lynch him if he were a mafia member? The mafia start of outnumbered by far, and it would make things even worse if one of their members is lynched in the first day phase. His team mates would be trying to get him to post sensibly as much as they could.
Tries to silence Bevab when he posts about the writeup. Everyone will agree writeup didn't help townies at all. How is it perfectly fine, Chewie?

Here again, cunningly trying to save a possible mafia (his partner?).
Why should we lynch someone who wants to be lynched? We're just falling into his trap.
I've a feeling he isn't lying here. Also, again Chewie was the one to lynch (initiate the lynch) against Bevab.
I'm going to change my vote,
Unlynch - Matt121
Lynch - Chewie
Though, I feel both are mafias.

Here's something else that kind of backs up what User's saying regarding Chewie:
Chewie was the first one to lynch Paki, followed by BKB, and p23456789 was the last. Interestingly Matt maintained his vote on User the whole time.
Why would a mafia member be the first person to initiate a vote on another mafia member. That would be extremely counter-intuitive.
Very well done User, Infact, Chewie was top of my list of suspects which I didn't reveal earlier, so that he doesn't become careful.
All his actions have been neutral. There has been no substantial contribution, and if you read back, you'll realize, he's looking very mafia.
Look at his defence of Voldemort, trying to create fear in the townie's mind.
"But I do agree that he probably wouldn't be night-killable."
"He'd be the godfather. Turn up as townie under investigation, kills one person at night (or at least gets Nagini to kill someone), looking to recruit someone at night (not too sure who this would be...)."
Lynch: Chewie
