Finally I have made it to the SA team at the end of my 1st season with Essex & Redbacks. Sadly I have replaced my Hero, Jacques Kallis to be the new No.4. Scored a 100 from 143 balls in my debut game.

Scored my first double century last night for the Qld Bulls (vs Tasmania)! woo hoo!! It was off 113 balls - I had just watched AB Devilliers' world record century and decided to just go for it. Got dropped once at mid on and a few times the ball didn't carry to the keeper...otherwise I just slogged almost everything! lol. The silly thing was...the fielding team actually helped me with its stupid field placements eg. facing Faulkner (LH medium), they had all the fielders in the long on/off and behind the wicket...but NOONE on the off and square leg boundaries. Then he goes and bowls short. After 6, 6, 4, they change and load up those areas, leaving the third man region empty (silly for left armer to RHB).

Whilst it felt good (also scored a 250 run partnership with Khawaja), it was a bit disappointing knowing the field placements were really bad. But hey, thats the game I have so I play it.

Currently 200* and we're 2/345 on Day 1. Will pick it up when I get home.

got out for 204...got caught on the long on boundary by the fielder at deep midwicket off Doherty. *sigh* still felt good though. Unfortunately I only scored 2 on the second dig. Eh, thats cricket! (took my season avg up to 40).

Started playing again for the first time since September, so started a new career as a #3 batsman. Bog standard difficulty of course.

Top of the batting stats in both competitions after 6 4-day games, and just hit my best score of 385 in the last game. Which was nice.

Also top batsman after 5 40 over games too.





Law of sod says that they'll undoubtedly release the next patch in the next few weeks though, which I'm sure will require starting yet another career!

Its not necessary but some might prefer to do it for the gameplay changes made to be effective from the start of the career...

Well it to happen sooner or later but I FINALLY managed to get my first ever century in any form of the game. It's only taken 68 hours but hey no pain no gain right?
We ended up losing the match but seriously I don't care at this stage. Also got my first ever MOTM
