How are you going in Ashes Cricket 2009?

i cant see these files as i sont have the game on PX and i am NOT on xbox live that is why i am wondering whether or not you can post the stats for me or just send them to my email?

It doesn't matter what you're using. Just download the roster and check the stats he's used.

Why is this?

I'm using the actual lineups from the series.

Right, lost the second test. Two main reasons:

1. Another hopeless first innings batting display
2. My seamers only took 1 wicket all match

As the averages show my middle order haven't turned up yet and if it weren't for Hughes and Hauritz (who I don't see how I can drop now!) I'd be dead and buried. For all the talk of weak AI middle orders Flintoff has a very impressive average and they've been hard to dislodge. I really don't understand why I suddenly can't buy a wicket with the quicks. 70 overs between them in the match and just one wicket :(

Another close match,it is India vs Pakistan,ODi
i scored 316/9 in 50 overs, and they chased it in 49th over :facepalm.but that was a damn close match ,i was dominating the whole game (except last 5 overs)

Lol, Dilshan and Younus have the same score off the same number of balls. The only difference is that Younus's score is growing and Dilshan's score died out ages ago.

3rd Ashes test continued. Once again a very solid start by Strauss and Cook; putting on 50 for the first wicket. Cook though falling to a short ball from Johnson - caught at mid off. Great for Johnson's confidence and he went on to take Strauss soon with the England captain edging to slip.
Hauritz didn't bowl at all in the morning session but got the ball after lunch and immediately broke the good partnership between Bopara and Bell; Bopara tried to cut and lost his leg stump and Bell was caught behind giving Manou his first catch of the series.
As the ball began to reverse Johnson and Hilfenhaus returned to the attack and the former removed Collingwood and Prior. Colly loosely driving to cover and Prior caught at slip to a well disguised yorker.
England's most reliable and destructive batsman all series has been Andrew Flintoff so Hilfenhaus was delighted to remove his off stump second ball with Flintoff late on an inswinger. Broad holed out at in the deep to a bouncer before Anderson misread a yorker and was lbw.
Finally with the last pair frustrating the bowlers Ponting tossed the ball to Hauritz who immediately had Onions caught at point.

A poor first innings score from England but with the prolific Phillip Hughes dropped in favour of Shane Watson and Brad Haddin out injured will Australia's batting be good enough to gain a first innings lead? After giving away deficits of 190 and 114 in the matches so far they'll be hopeful.
A welcome return to form for the Aussie seamers and now it's up to the batsmen.

Just wanted to see how fast I can score and this is what I came up with.

Bowling was lotta fun and so was batting when you are in that mood. ;)

Not *every* ball ;)

3rd test update.
Aussie middle order fails again but lead is still 100.

Wickets as follows:

Watson - c Collingwood b Onions 96 - Super short cover bags a ball aimed at long off...
Katich - c Bopara b Anderson 12 - mistimed drive loops to gully.
Clarke - runout 22 - called for second changed mind came up short.
Hussey - b Swann 6 - dragged on wide one.
North - c&b Flintoff 28 - proving once again how awful the straight drive is in this game.
Ponting - c Cook b Onions 77 - one too many big hits and caught at slip.
Manou - c Prior b Flintoff 30 - thin top edge on cut shot.
Johnson - c Prior b Swann 9 - attempted sweep edged behind.
Hauritz - c Prior b Swann 0 - thin top edge.
Hilfenhaus - runout 9 - backward point too quick with the throw.

I played too aggressively and whilst it felt great to hit 24 off an Anderson over with 6 pull shots (Ponting) I could and should have made 400.
Very confident of victory now though.

The final of my Twenty20 tournament. It was another thriller.
Coming down to the last ball. South Africa (me) vs Sri Lanka at Brisbane on hard ( beta patch 2). Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bat.

The made a brilliant 212 for 5 in their 20 overs. Jaysuriya making a brilliant 89 of 56 balls.

Then when I came out to bat, I knew it was going too be tough. I lost wickets regulary, but it was Duminy who came out and delivered the goods, making 90 of just 41 balls. When the spinners was out, I really struggled, but when the pace bowlers came back, I managed to climb into them. Needing 24 of the last 2 overs. I managed too get 19 of that over. Then with a little bit of nerves, I managed to scrape thru and take the cup.:):):)

It really was a very enjoyable tournament. My next series is a hardcore test series.
