Just started playing my mates copy of the game and I'm probably going to buy it. I was getting absolutely hammered at the start but now I'm getting the hang of it. Been such a long time since I've touched my X360.

Played on hard now 2 times with up stats and can say this game is about right on hardest. maybe just the fielding needs some tweaks but the ai at batting and bowling is good. I made 196 all out on my first try, i thought this is not to hard when i was 1 for 109 for 31 overs. Then i up the runrate but lost wickets fast. Most of the time you have to get your eye in, sometimes you will be lucky and get to 25 of 25 balls then its not to hard. India made 669, i have never had the ai bat like this but my catching and bowling was not so good and the pitch was a better batting pitch than the new game. In my first test on hard vs sa i only made 95 all out but i know in a week or 2 its not so hard. The ai is a lot better than ashes but you can still work ways to get runs better. I other people have said the slog button is to easy to use on any difficutes. Its need a little tweak and i hope trickstar work on this for the aus release. But if you think about it hitting harder works sometimes in real life. I just think trickstar need to make you pay on hard if you use it to much to early. Most of the problems with ic2010 are easy to fix and i hope they do something for us all soon.ps sa are 1 for 59 of 15 overs, had a good lbw of doug b and i was over the moon.:banana2

I have found the game way too easy!
Just played a full length Champions Trophy tournament (50 overs) on hard with minimal batting and bowing help.
I've been bowling out the AI for about 130 on average and with 20 odd overs left in there innings.
I've also discovered that in the first 10 overs the batsmen are very safe a look for the 1's and 2's with the very odd boundary but then after the 10 overs are over they start to attack more and lose wickets way to easily.
The most annoying thing is that alot of the time the bowling feels to random.

Up there stats and this problem should be gone, if not then your just better than most at this game. I have said before that the ai in ic2010 is a lot better than ashes but no where near perfect. Still if cricketgaming.net is right then we will have 2 new cricket games next year. Trine 10 and a new world cup codemasters game but will they be better than ic2010. Also i was thinking, if ea ever make cricket games again i hope they get the fifa engine. If they do then codemasters will have to update. hahahahah, im dreaming of course but you never know.:sarcasm:banana2

On many occasions, especially in 20-20's and ODI's.
The fifa engine is being used for a couple of fps now. Look i dont care if its the baseball one or the fifa one just a good looking engine they can build on. maybe a new engine just for cricket but that would be silly.ps first test update vs sa, 95 all out to me and sa made a good 344. Now im 2 for 24 of 10 overs. God i love how hard this game is. When bowling has anyone seen this annoying problem when you change the field and then it changes back to a different one. very annoying. In the end i would love to see ea try again and we can have 2 different cricket games.

Dutch, the online disconnection bug really killed it for me. Yeah I still like offline, but there's not enough depth in it for me. It needs to have stats tracking and a career mode to give the offline aspect any real longevity.

Well the only real reason I got this game was to be able to play you guys...havings said that I am enjoying off-line mode...maybe they will patch something to coincide with the Aussie release...(yeah, right!)

AI Batsmans stats upped to max on hard is the only way i can play this game. But as stated, there is nothing to offer as far as offline goes that will keep you entertained for months.
I have an idear for IC2011 if i can share? Feel free to make comments.
Ide like to see some umpire editing available. Perhaps have 7 or 8 umpires available and you can choose what ones you want in your match. They could have stats so the higher they are the better, thus giving better desisions. They could be edited too so we could have real life umpires. Im just as bored with these three new umpires as i was with the last three after 2 or 3 matches!! Just an idear.
