Pakistan unlikely to host New Zealand
New Zealand appear unlikely to visit Pakistan for a three-match ODI series in the lead-up to the Champions Trophy, according to the PCB. New Zealand originally agreed to the tour, which would have given them a good chance to acclimatise ahead of the main eight-team event.
But New Zealand are one of the teams that have shown reluctance to visit Pakistan for the Champions Trophy due to security concerns.

May wants more action in Pakistan
Tim May, the chief executive of the global players' union, believes Pakistan must do more to ensure the safety of players at next month's Champions Trophy. May will form part of an ICC task force that will attempt to allay the touring fears of New Zealand in meetings on Thursday before travelling to Australia on Friday.
In the Herald Sun May, who represents the Federation of International Cricketers' Associations, praised the Pakistan Cricket Board for its efforts, but said more had to be done. And he said it was not too late to make the changes.
"One of the concerns of the task force is that we haven't been able to see enough of, let's say, the implementation of the security forces," May told the paper. "We need to speak to the players and governing bodies and see if they are in the same position too, if they want to see some more."

OMG ICC Trophy will it be conducted there?
Cricketers are more popular, and more respected. If you can kill a cricketer, it makes a huge impact and its bigger than killing a politician/businessman.
You cant just go by the history of the bombings and who have been the victims. When the situation is not right, you just dont take the risk.

First of all, the bomb blast today in Lahore occured at a police post. The target were POLICEMEN. Not security guard / officials. Not citizens.
Also I'm quite irritated to see you guys open your bloody mouths without even expressing condolences to those who lost their lives in another tragic incident.
As if we're third-rate citizens.
Somethings are slightly more important than tournaments such as the ICC Champions Trophy, and all of you guys are on about how it should be moved.
