It will highly depend on what England and SA decide to do. I Think Australia and NZ are just sitting back and waiting to see what they decide to do before making a decision. If all four of them decide not to play in Pakistan the ICC has really no choice but to move it.

You know whats funny? Players that don't have certain places in the team like Swann are looking to play in Pakistan, while big hotshots like Symonds are making noises left, right, and centre.
I am sorry Andrew, that we do not offer you strip clubs or night clubs where you can get drunk, and find a prostitute to have sex with in bed every night, and then offer you the opportunity to show up the next morning at the ground drunk and in no condition to play.

I'm sorry, I got a bit worked up. But the ICC need to do something and not dither around. The time is ticking down. Player safety and happiness should be the ICC's number 1 priority. The majority of players aren't going to feel safe and happy by going to Pakistan.

Champions Trophy can move to Sri Lanka: Richardson
The General Manager of International Cricket Council (ICC), David Richardson, has said that the venue for the upcoming Champions Trophy would possibly be shifted to Sri Lanka from Pakistan on the registration of reservations from four leading nations.
"The ICC taskforce needs to report back to the ICC, they need to take on the advice that they're picking up, not only from feedback they're getting from Australia, but also from New Zealand and England and South Africa and other parts of the world." Richardson maintained.

KARACHI: Controversial fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar was today asked by Pakistan Cricket Board to pay the fine of seven million rupees imposed on him or forget playing in next month's Champions Trophy.
The fast bowler was served a legal notice today by the legal counsel of the board who said the fine had to be paid as per court orders or else Akhtar would be dropped from Pakistan's squad for the mega tournament.
"We have asked him to pay the fine or it would not be possible for us to retain him in Champions Trophy squad," PCB lawyer Tafazzul Rizvi told.

I am fully aware that prostitutes exist in Pakistan (and know where to get them, but thats not for this forum
), but realistically speaking, it will be very hard for Symonds to get a hold of one due to language barrier, and him not knowing where to find one zMario added 7 Minutes and 10 Seconds later...
And South Africa have also toured during Bhutto's assination.
I don't think the South Africans have any problems with coming to Pakistan, as they have already named their 15 man squad after finding out which players have pulled out.
As far as I know, none have pulled out, and South Africa are sending a full strength squad to Pakistan.
And West Indies also don't have any problems either, so its really only England, New Zealand, and Australia. England toured in 2005, so they might be willing to travel.
And if NZ and Australia don't come, who cares - just replace them with willing teams such as Bangladesh and Zimbabwe or Ireland.

And you have an even more pathetically meaningless tournament then the Champions Trophy already is because you've lost 2 of the top sides.
The situation in Pakistan isn't getting any better, Pakistan is in all sorts of Political problems, It'd be more justifiable for PCB now, as they have to lower the ticket prices, and we all know they are all about money.
They don't care if the country is politicaly safe or not.

In my opinion, the player's should go to Pakistan to play the trophy. These things have been happening for years! India and Sri Lanka went to play the Asia Cup, right?
But it's got to the point were it's become such a mess that it simply has to be moved. A bit sad, but the New Zealand and Australian cricketers/boards have made a real mess of it.
