The BCCI trying to take a stand against common sense. The fact is, if the trophy isn't moved it will be a farce, but if it is moved it will just highlight that the ICC failed to handle it correctly. Already we have probably the second best ODI team in the world out, and that is a failure by the ICC.

They were banking on convincing the teams otherwise, and waited until the threat was perceived as very serious to even try to take proper action, by which time it was too late to move it anyway. I say cancel it and put the Champs League in its place (not in Pakistan of course) so that the two tests that were rescheduled for it no longer need to be.

I think for a good tournament a new venue is needed no chances of playing in pakistan

We haven`t had a good ODI series since the India-England series of 2007,which although was a bit too long as it was a 7-match series was a rivetting one all the same.The CB series this year is the only other good ODI series that I can remember but even that had a few pointless games.
I was hoping for a keenly contested Champions Trophy to revive the ODI game but this thing has really killed any such hopes.

Australia might forfeit their games that are played in Pakistan. Thats what happened in the 1996 WC

I really don't get why people comment on the condition of Pakistan when they haven't been to Pakistan all their life. Im really happy India and Pakistan said they would pull out if they moved it since this would just give the Australian, NZ, SA and English cricket board a hope of doing it in the WC too and just killing international cricket in Pakistan!
