To clear it up, I didn't call everyone in Pakistan a terrorist. I have no problem with Pakistani's and I sympathize with any who are caught up in any kind of activity. I don't sympathize with morons who claim their country is perfectly safe and think that players are chickens for not wanting to go.

These players have families and will only spend half the time in Pakistan worried. They'll probably be confined to their hotels the whole time while their families worry sick about them. Now that the ICC has selfishly kept it in Pakistan, they need to accept teams dropping out. It's their own fault for not moving it.

You can't force the players to go, what's that going to do? They'll spend the whole time distracted and won't play good cricket.

Its so funny how the dumb cricket boards trust a single person who is assessing the security stuff and that to in 2 days over a team of people who have been doing it for quite some time. The true fact is that Australia, NZ and England know that they are going to get their asses kicked in Pakistan by the Indians, Pakistanis and Lankans in the tournament. Accept the true fact that they are a bunch of pussys and just dont want to accept that fact that Pakistan is a safe place for cricketers.

Well if you think thats going to shut our big mouths up, your are wrong because thats not true.

Security doubts 'beyond logic' - PCB

The Australian Cricketers' Association (ACA) may have told its players not to tour Pakistan for the Champions Trophy in September, but concerns are growing in Pakistan that the decision was made based on hasty, possibly inaccurate security assessments.

An increasingly exasperated Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has questioned the wisdom behind the ACA's decision and particularly the information on which it was based. "All we can do logically about the situation, we have done," Shafqat Naghmi, chief operating officer told Cricinfo. "This is now beyond logic. If they are haunted by horror stories there is little more we can do."

Why make PCB spent so much effort and possibly finances to get this done, this is a joke. If pakistan is not safe, nor is India, so that should really mean that no player will show up for the champion's league or the IPL, if they do, it will expose how greedy player of Aus and NZ have become, and are willing to compromise their security for more money, may be its time CA offers its players a little more money for national fixtures, they need it

It's a shame a big mouth is all you have. Alas, this is the internet and you are a troll.

I wanted to see Mendis and Murali bowl to the Aussies and the Proteas. I will be happy if it happens. Does'nt matter where.

He's a troll for speaking the truth? Interesting.

The fact is that Karachi Xpress and I are more qualified to make a statement of the situation in Pakistan than you guys that are at home and pretending to be experts on Pakistan.

I live in Pakistan (although am out of country for the moment), and I believe KX just recently came from Pakistan I believe.

Do you guys think we're lieing? Pakistan is safer than South Africa as far as hosting various sportsmen are concerned.

Ohh! can't risk Players life. There in Pakistan if either the condition may be unsecured but still as i read in Times it's getting better and security is getting tight...

I would go for a postponement of the Champions Trophy or drop the tournament altogether. I guess its too less a time to move out to another country, and it would be a waste of the big sides like Australia, England, New Zealand, etc pull out. If Sri Lanka is ready, move it over to Sri Lanka. I hope it doesnt continue in Pakistan.

Exactly. The Champions Trophy should be a marquee event for the ODI game and not end up being yet another ODI tournament which would do nothing but add to player fatigue.
Hence it should only be played if the teams are at full strength.
I hope it gets moved to some other venue now.Not that Iam against Pakistan hosting it,but I would like to see an exciting tournament where all teams are at full strength and fighting for the trophy.

Comments like,`let teams not come if they do not want to` are senseless in my opinion because what would the tournament be without the top sides! It would be as meaningless as your 7-match ODI series which are played every week of the year !

This whole thing is making Champions Trophy, ICC and PCB so DUMB!, how dumber can they get. Play the game not with it.

Yes, and the truth is that Eng, Aus and the Kiwis don't want to travel to Pakistan in fear of getting their "asses kicked in Pakistan by the Indians, Pakistanis and Lankans in the tournament"

Oh please.

Really ?? everyday a bombing is taking place in Pakistan just a daily routine, it may be usual stuff for your players but our players are not for dumb ride .

Actually It has nothing to do with the original circumstances in Pakistan for now.(though the are not good enough)
You live in Pakistan and calming the high security but that will not enough excuse for teams to travel in Pakistan.People remember the threating incidents for long time.It was not long ago when Respected Benzir died in blast.
It is easy for you to say that Pakistan is safe enough but someone who lives millions miles away from Pakistan won't accept it easily. There is a big Psychological Factor for this.
Everybody care for their life and right so as they have their family to take care.

It would be better if the players speak out openly about their apprehensions and reasons for hesitating to tour Pakistan(Unless the reason is personal). It will atleast give the PCB a chance to convince players to play in Pakistan and to clarify things once and for all.
