Poor Rassie, absolutely smashed that ball expecting a hundred, only for Maxi to take a good catch and shush everyone. :p

Australia need Cummins to improve his death bowling skills, he lacks the variations that others bowl and is bound to leak runs on batting pitches like this. Stoinis needs to step up big time with the ball as he’s been extremely useless with the bat so far.

That was a very entertaining knock from Van Der Dussen. Sad he missed out on a hundred, but he along with Faf has hopefully taken SA to a winning total here.

On the Ind-SL match, not following it as obviously I am more interested in the SA-AUS game so that I can see if IND can make it to the first SF, but Rohit Sharma is in the form of his life and just so so happy that it has happened this tournament. I am frankly not worried about others getting practice because our middle order has been tested well enough in this tournament so far, and its time for them to step up in the semis if required

Has anyone in here ever timed how long it takes for Gautam Gambhir to complete his answers and let the interviewer ask the next question? :p:facepalm:noway

This innings will do KL a world of good and these are not great signs for the other teams. A lot of credit needs to go to Sharma Ji, not for his own runs alone, but for allowing Rahul to settle in, in terms of pacing the innings by taking the initiative himself.

WTF is wrong with our management? With 12 runs to score in 8 overs, sending Pandya after Pant gets out? Cant give Karthik a run in the middle?

I can sense a collapse coming either in the semis or the finals. Both the opening batsmen will get out on a single digit score triggering a middle order collapse irrespective of the opposition we face.

Meanwhile why the heck Manjerakar asking Rohit who do you want to face in the semifinals?

It looks like they really want everyone including Hardik to realise that if there’s not much overs to go (meaning less than 15), he’ll be promoted to 5. If not, Dhoni plays there as usual.

I doubt DK is being seen as a serious option and it wouldn’t surprise me if Jadhav returns for the semis to provide the extra bowling option. Personally, Jadhav and Dhoni seem really similar in terms of what they contribute eventually (runs, strike rate) and just like how Rayudu and Dhoni were absolutely incompatible, these two shouldn’t play/bat together when chasing 300+. Would rather see an array of hitters and sloggers accompany Dhoni in the middle order like now, especially because Hardik has been pretty good as a fifth bowler until now. Dhoni has always played best when paired with a more aggressive batsman like Raina and this lineup will allow us to mimic that as much as possible.

The mo**** is also asking Virat the same question now but looking at the face of Virat it was a typical BC reaction and an equally Outstanding answer to shut that moron up.

Two pieces of absolute freakiness from De Kock so far today!!! And the swag he showed after taking that last catch was DOPE!!!

Looks like ot will be an Ind-Eng semi after all. SA bowling has been horrible in the last 10 overs.

If its a tie, will it get down to NRR? Because both AUS and IND will be tied on 7 wins. AUS have a better NRR before this game, but what will a tie do to their NRR?

Imagine Carey still batting behind Stoinis and Maxwell in this kind of form. Utter disrespect from our management team.
