If I was gayle or sangakkara I wld be so pissed rite now. They did all the hard work played brilliantly and got the required rate under 6 an over and well Kallis, Lara 2 failiure's in a row. They made batting look so easy especially sanga with his awesome cover drives and the others made it look so hard. I'd be gutted if I was them
Funningly Enough, I didn't see anyone playing as a team-member for World XI, (Kallis, the selfishmost) except for those three openers. Even in the first match Sangakkara was right on the money. Man, honestly what a team of W@nkers.

Great performance by Aus. They were lucky with the run outs as it sure didn't look to good with Sangakara going so well.

At last White got a go, he went alright. Watson has been quite good during this series, his true test will come in the test match.

Oh yeah I was actually working late night, missed Gilchrist's innings. Must have been good. He perfectly showed those bowlers the place where they belong.

A good performance by the aussies, the world 11 threw the match away when they had it in the bag, they had a great start when the world 11 was on 151-3 in the 20th over. Good captaincy by ponting he put clever field placings, and put some smart bowling moves.

I agree charith, If I was Gayle and Sangakarra I would be so pissed off. When them two got the world 11 to a flyer, and when they got out the world 11 needed in the last 30 overs 176 runs to win and they brung the run rate down to under 6 an over, lara, dravid, flintoff and pieterson should have seen the team through.

Aussies are still tops, i think now that were in form, in england we were so outta form it was pathetic, but 329 agaisnt the likes of vettori, muttiah, pollock, flintoff kallis and ahktar that is some performance, and for rookies like clark and well bracken sort off to get wickets its great for australian cricket not sure about cricket in general though.

Sing it with me!!

Guess who just got back today?
Those wild-eyed boys that had been away
Haven't changed, haven't much to say
But man, i still think those cats are great

They were asking if you were around
How you was, where you could be found
I told them you were living downtown
Driving all the old men crazy

THE BOYS ARE BACK IN TOWN, THE BOYS ARE BACK IN TOWN!!

I also think beating a World XI side isnt a very tough thing, because itS more like a group of talented individuals rather than a well knit team.

Jacques Kallis shouldnt even come close to being a World XI member if it happens again. One of the most selfish and boring batsman in world cricket today, Jacques Kallis, the 'snail', initiated the collapse after Sangakkara and Gayle had got off to a flyer. I was just amazed at one of the most remarkable shots that Gayle played, that back-foot six off Lee. Was really wondering why this guy wasnt mention with the likes of Sehwag and Afridi.

Good comeback by Australia though. They are a different team altogether now. Congratulations to the Aussie supporters.

I've just seen the Sangakkara run out on Sky Sports News and can't understand why someone of Jacques Kallis' talent has to be such a idiot. He is a magnificant batsman but I am losing any respect I had for him very quickly, simply because he is such a selfish person. I remember the 5th test v England during the winter. SA needed to get on with it to have any chance of levelling the series and he made no attempt whatsoever to aid his country. Fabulous batsman, just stop being selfish!

Australia aren't at their worst, they had won their last two ODIs before this series.

The World XI need to pull it together before Sunday. Looks like Shahid Afridi might start after Kevin Pietersen's hamstring strain.

How can you blame Kallis for the run out!Even the commentators said that there wasn't a run in it.Sure,he did play rather stupidly, but why pick on him?Not many other people did better!Anyway,I think that Ntini should be given a run instead of Shoab in the next match.

Q: Why does Kallis bowl?
A: The captains his countryman
Let me just point out,who got the breakthrough by taking out Gilchrist in the first match?

And dont think this ICC series is living up to its hype! here is to much critisizing going on! instead of concentrating on beating the Aussies, the world side are to busy to give each other the fault!, my personal opinion looking at the two odi's I would rather chose Kallis to bowl instead of Flintoff, now im not running Flintoff down, but when you are not bowling good enough, you should be taken off! Australians are trying to prove a piont, but you can look at it from two aspects: number 1- yes the Aussies are playing well, number2- The Australians have been in the side for how long and with the new talent coming trhu with the likes of Ghilcrest and Ponting at your side you will see them play well (Staurt Clark), the world XI only played three matches together thus far( including the warmup). Sangakarra is a gem, its a pittty he had to be runed out! but **** happens! I am very dissapionted of the field placing done by Shaun Pollock to look at Ponting's fieldplacing makes Pollock look like a idiot, I would rather have bought Vaughn in as captain and dropped Shewag because of his captaining, than the batting line-up could be disrupted (maybe Dravid and Gayle or Gayle and Afridi could have opened the batting). My friend asked me before the ICC series began what was going to happen and I replied " Australia will win the ODI'S 2-1, but the World XI will win the six day test match! now to come with Squizy's little question and answer why Pollock lets Kallis bowls! might perhaps be showned on the test match, (in my opinion) watch Pollock and Ntini to open the bowling (Smith knows what he will get but with other bowler its a gamble, because he does not know their styles)! but full respect to Australia they are playing with the most passion and im sorry if the World XI cant preduce something special, write my words of that the World XI will win the test
