Lara was good today. Too bad he went out. He was the one who could have changed the match. Kallis is finally looking good, but this has come a bit too late now.

At this moment World XI need 242 runs. I think Australia will win with about 170 runs.

Well Australia Suck, we are gonna lose another test match. I guess it's time to really blood those young guys.

Your a fool. 1 loss of the ashes means absolutly nothing. Australia still top the rankings and will continue to. The Older players - Gilchrist, Hayden, Warne is who wins the games, without them your nothing. Use them while you can.

Yeah, Lara has finally found form. Great ball by Warne though that got him.

Australia remain uneatable in Australia and

absolutely unbeatable batting first

soon as they won the toss it was all over on one stands a chance against them batting 2nd let alone in Australia

they Will smash west Indies 3 0 smash South Africa 3 0 going to be a boring summer!!! this one too easy

Australia wins by 210 runs. Very easy victory of Australia. Great piece of leg spin bowling.

And West Indies and South Africa will visit Australia next. I guess you can make an assumption now what will happen then.

I hope Martyn comes back for Australia test team. Especially since they didn't use Watson much. And Watson is for me more an ODI player.

nah martyn wont be back hes finished selectors are done with him

Id rather they go with brad Hodge actually

I can see the west Indies lasting 3 days for all 3 tests south Africa might be a little better but not much

dont see this is an example of what is going to happen in the summer. Yes it might be a boaring summer if australia always wins but west indies or sth africa will provide some fight and may even win a few test matches. Very hard for a world team to win if they had hardly any match practice and never played with each other before. I agree with what mark nicholas said in a local morning show that the super test should be between the 2 top nations in the world instead of world xi v no. 1

OK after a lot of people said the World XI would be much better in the test, what excuses have you come up with to defend their terrible terrible performance? Also what happened with Inzi? 1 off 5 balls, 0 off 2 balls, some of the Pakistanis here said he should of been in the ODIs. McGrath made more runs than him in this test

Just makes England look even better this performance although I still think Australia are over-reliant on Warne and McGrath. If you look at the wickets they took in this match compared to McGill, it was the top order world class players rather than the tail.

You are an example of a spoiled supporter. What the Aussie team have been able to achieve over the past couple of seasons (being the premier Test and One Day outfit) is pretty much unheard of in modern professional sport (in which every strength weakness of every player and team is documented). They lose two games by narrow margains, against the number two team in the world, in there own backyard, and you say they suck? Oh yeah, and they won another away one day series.

That's a disappointing attitude mate.

As for blooding young guys, that isn't necessarily the best way to go. If they are ready for it, sure. If not, let em improve in our very competitive domestic competition until they are. We have a number of blokes in there late 20's that would be ready to make that step up, they just need their chance.

i hope you are jokin with what you said about the west indies maybe winning a test match. they have simply no chance against us. their bowling is quite poor, and their batting not much better. to be frank, i do not think they stand one solitary chance. as for Sth Africa, they may prove to be slightly challenging, but we still will probably win.

West Indies can at least get a draw out of one of the test if Lara fires. When he does its usually a very big inns.
SA have Kallis who can bat for ages, just needs a partner. Probably won't win if form is anything to go by.

West Indies I guarantee you will be a joke

last time they came here 5 0 they were beaten and just about every test they were It ran 3 days a few times they were bowled out for 50 thank god its not 5 tests
