Damn those last 3 overs ... when it is not your day, even the best spinner in the world, in your side, is hit for 24 runs in an over. Pakistan bowled so well for 17 overs, and could have lost the match in the 18th, 19th and 20th overs. 59 runs scored in last three for the loss of 1 wicket, (82 in the last 5 overs). The variances of T20 Cricket at its best !!

I could be wrong slightly, but i reckon this is the 1st time probably since that 2010 T20 world cup semi-final when Hussey smoked him, where Ajmal has been successful attacked in the death overs of a T20 game.

Nope I think you are right, that is why I said when Ajmal, the best spinner in the world hands down, goes for 24 runs in an over, it is not Pakistan's day.

Lala out ... Match Over !!

WI vs SL and IND vs SA, two great semis in the making.

I would think that SL have an edge over WI, but then again I thought Pak tonight had an edge over WI, too and look how that turned out.

Also SA know how to play spin, and Ind spinners may not have as great a day against SA as they have over the rest of the teams. In Steyn they have a bowler who has always had India's number. I still pick India as favorites but, they could find it tough against SA, especially if they are defending 140 - 155 in the dew.

Still two great semis to look upto and all 4 semi-finalists fully deserving of their place.

Got windies to defend their title based on this performance, this was severe test for them that i thought they couldn't handle - but they overcame it. Maybe even Sammy's prediction of them playing India in the final might come to pass.
