Ponting then brings Clarke to attack at one end as Warne bowls at the other. Clarke immediately strucks for Australia as Ganguly fails yet again and India losses its fourth wicket on 117. Ganguly made only 3

poor batting by aussie in the end in th 1st inning..
match sleeping away from them..
chasing over 300 in last inning always difficult

With Ganguly's wicket umpire calls for tea and India finishes the second session on Day3 for 117/4 with a lead of 192 runs.

Good inning again by Sachin but except him no other Indian batsmen is making any contribution. In opening also you need to make some drastic changes. Any target above 300 for Australia is going to be a very close contest but Indian spinners might just do the job for India on 4th and 5th day pitch.

look at those big footmarks outside the leg stump (kumble) and the off stump (singh). a total of over 300 will be tough to chase down but australia arent world champions for nothing

Players are coming to the ground for fourth day of the first test match.
