I dont see any reason for India losing now. India will win surely. Good bowling there by Kumble but Harbhajan seems to be failure

Players are coming to the ground for post lunch session. All aussies hopes now depend on Gillchrist. Mcgrath will face the first ball from Harbhajan.

Well Mcgrath had something different in mind as he didnt even gave Gillchrist the chance to do magic and skies the very first ball off Harbhajan straight into the hands of mid-wicket and India has won the first test match by 54 runs. All the Indian players celebrated while Australians obviously looked disappointed.

Sachin Tendulkar was awarded the Man of the Match award for his brilliant century in first inning and a good half-century in the second inning.

Actually Mcgrath and Gillespie were really good especially Mcgrath. At times they were almost impossible to play. Both bowled really well. Lee was a total disappointment and I hope computer replaces him in next match. Warne was also ordinary. He got alot of spin almost 75 to 80 degree turn but after that much turn ball usually missed the stumps by a big margin, so no big problems from him. I hope warne fires in next matches

Congratulations on Great India win there. Since all matches are on Eden Garden, I think India stands a very good chance of winning the series. Now India needs to do some changes in opening because it failed miserably in both inings of last match. Also Ganguly dont deserve to be in team. Moreover you should play with one spinner as Sachin and Sehwag can do the job of second spinner. Good win for India :D

So here is the update for second test match. India has decided to make following changes to its winning combination:
1) Ganguly will open with Sehwag
2) Gavaskar retained his place in team because of good batting in Second inning.
3) The only change will be Ashish Nehra replaces Harbhajan after his ordinary performance in first test match.

Stay tuned because second test match is going to start soon.

The second test match is about to start. Here is the preview and match condition

The Indian lineup changes are already explained. Australia also making a change with Mcgill replacing Brett Lee. A very good decision by Australia because this pitch will start turning from first day and playing two world class spinners on fourth inning wont be easy for India. Here are the two lineups

Sachin

Pathan

Australia
