Story India hosts Australia for a five test series

This ends the Australian inning after one hour play on Second Day. Australia posing a good total in the first inning due to half centuries from Hayden, Ponting and Martyn as Australia crossed the 300 mark for the first time in series. Hayden top scored with 84.

Indian openers Ganguly and Sehwag are coming to the ground for Indian first inning as India trail by 336 runs. Its still 50 minutes play is left before Lunch. Australia will be hoping to get a wicket or two before lunch so as to add more flavor to their lunch

Once again opening pair fails for India as Mcgrath strucks for Australia. Sehwag goes for 11 and India losses its first wicket on 25. Once again Mcgrath providing the initial breakthrough as his excellent form continues even in Second Test Match. So far this match has completely belonged to Australia.

That brings Indian Captain Rahul Dravid to the crease and Both Dravid and Ganguly took INdia to lunch without any further loss. At Lunch, India is 33/1 as it still trail by 303 runs

India then ends the session and goes for tea on Day 2 without losing any other wicket. A good sesssion with India scoring 76 runs and lost the wicket of Captain Rahul Dravid. Ganguly is not out at 43 while Sachin is on 24.
