why are the english fans talking crap??is this because you were beaten black and blue by aussies and are not able to take the fact that another team is challenging them???

do you have a valid reason for being anti indian cricket??

He's not anti-Indian cricket. He's referring to the assumption by Indian fans which is annoying quite a lot of English fans now that we're automatically going to be supporting Australia. Seriously, what?
I'm fairly sure that most English members of this forum are either neutral or leaning towards India; it's incredibly offensive to stereotype us all, as Matt says, into the "they'll be supporting the white guys" box.

Oh yeah, because getting beat 2-0 two tests into the series is miles better than what England did isn't it?

Yet again i'll make reference to what on earth England have to do with this thread?

Where are you coming from? You seem totally blinded to what people are actually posting. Do us all a favour and actually read the posts by English fans rather than assuming you know what they say.

this will cause more of what we don't want.

You're kidding yourself if you think india is the be all and end all of cricket - last I heard no players outside of india are getting paid a cent from indians to play for their country....on top of that, why does india need to draft in a heap of international players to make a new cricket league successful? If anything, if we had to eliminate india from the competition, which will be a result of the rest of the community not wanting them, not cause india don't want to be there, it will allow for more great series like australia vs england and australia vs south africa - rather than having to allow india to play australia so often cause that's where the real money lies. These heavy tactics from india are shocking and they should be supsended from international cricket if they go ahead can't accept an offical ruling without resorting to such pathetic black mailing.

Just think how bad this would've been if sreenath was playing?

What?? All those international players were falling over each other seeing the money they were offered. they were ready to do anything to play in this league. Your "Cricket Australia" were very upset when it heard that a big group of Australian players had signed up for the league only for those group of players to deny the rumors.

What happened to the 2007 World Cup (50 over) version when India were knocked out? The World Cup was a major financial disaster and is considered the least exciting of all World Cups since 1992.

You Indians speaking of breaking away from the ICC do realise that England, Australia (clearly) and South Africa really wouldn't give a toss if you decided to pull out over this. It'd for one make the decision making process within the ICC a lot less strenuous as it is the Asian sides that often have to be compromised to - explain England having to play Cricket virtually constantly 2 years to allow the Indians to have a break, because you refused to drop the issue and compromise. Each of these countries also hae huge rainy day funds for if a summer were ever to be washed out that would then subsidise the lack of Asian sides contributions, assuming that Pakistan would pull out with you as they most likely would because they'd consider it an issue of race as always -Sigh-.

It would however be interesting to see where Sri Lanka would stand in the issue.

And this is not being arrogant? Boasting about how your national cricket board is so powerful, it can manipulate the ICC?

It has come down to a full blooded war type situation now. No holds barred (as harish rightly put it out!)
