its so ridiculous,it usually some handful of jobless people who do these things and somehow the media always seems to be present.
I would say that's generally the case when India is accused of moaning but I think here it is different. I mean it was clear when South Africa toured India and the Kolkata fans were cheering for the Proteas because Ganguly wasn't playing, that it isn't just a small group of jobless people.

1. Virender Sehwag
2. Rahul Dravid
3. VVS Laxman
4. Sachin Tendulkar
5. Sourav Ganguly
6. MS Dhoni
7. Irfan Pathan
8. Anil Kumble
9. Harbhajan Singh
10. Rudra Pratap Singh
11. Ishant Sharma

I think this is going to be the XI. I think India will be itching to go in with 2 spinners. Although, Sehwag's cameo with the ball may mean that they decide to leave Bhajji out. I would personally like to see Karthik up at the top, but I feel that would be at the expense of Pathan, in Adelaide.

They done the right thing  and this time once again they doing the right thing

Crap! If they support the opposition just because one of their statesman is dropped from the national side, then they are behaving like a seperate nation, and are not a part of India logically. They have crowds that do all sorts of violent behavior if India doesnt play well and are not winning.

Oh, you're going to get it :p.

Karthik is and will always be the better keeper. He's been doing it all his life, he's athletic, and he's quick behind the stumps. Sure, Dhoni has improved. But saying he is better witht he gloves then Karthik is not right.
Karthik is better technichally with the bat. You always knew that with the technique Dhoni possessed, he was not going to be a permanent run scorer for the Indian team. I fail to remember one big contribution he has made off late in the creams, apart from the 90-odd against England at lords.

Dhoni is not some one like Dravid who kept for sometime in school before turning up a batsman. He came into the team as a specialist wicketkeeper and has the skills for being the top keeper. Karthik is a natural diver, and is more spectacular that Dhoni when he takes off those blinders. But the basic technique required for wicketkeeping is the same in both Karthik and Dhoni.

What a spectacle this Test Match should be for the neutral. Two top quality teams going down to the final test match to decide a cracking test series. I fully expect the Aussies to be victorious with either a win or a draw (Adelaide Pitch) but I'm sure India with their new seam attack won't lie down and give up.

Also on Dhoni, I have never been impressed with his batting. When the pitch has at least the smallest amount in it, Dhoni is either slogging or trying to play defensive and failing. The times he has succeeded, he tends to have been dropped or being completely dominated by the bowler.

I agree with that team. You cant leave Pathan out at all after the Perth test. He is brimming on confidence, and with some overcast skies predicted for the first two days of the test, it is expected to swing (if overcast) and Pathan can make use of it. Even if no swing, he has recovered well to bowl good line and length and with confidence, he can do well at Adelaide. He is a very reliable bat too.

Seeing Harbhajan's innings at Sydney, I wouldnt mind going with 5 bowlers. I dont expect Adelaide to be of much help to the bowlers, and guys like Harbhajan and Kumble can contribute well with the bat. So the five bowler formula should be adopted.

I dont care what Hayden or Hussey have been saying. This team is well known for the mental disintegration thing. I dont care if they get back to their aggressive self. India will continue to play as hard as they have (and may be even increase their aggression). I hope the final match proves to be the ultimate finale that this ripper of a series deserves

As far as I am concerned, whichever players are speaking now from either side are just doing it to build the game up in the media. If the players out there haven't noticed how the matches have swung from side to side, then I'll eat my hat.

Just so everyone knows i voted "Australia" for the poll "who's gonna win the 4the test" cause i think the announcement of the ODI squad has distracted the Indian players which would put their game down while the Aussies after the beating they got in Perth is gonna raise their game even higher. The last Ashes rings a bell.

:noway

I'll be surprised if we win 2 games.

I disagree. I think SL have made the mistake of not playing two spinners as well as the fact that these SL bowlers haven't really been effective as of yet in Australia. The pace options while impressive on paper haven't shown much sting to the Aussie batting line up. As a result i think India have a strong case to make the finals. From there its anyone's game.

i think itll be a good series. if india play with their twenty20 attitude(the we dont care we'll take on anyone and beat them attitude) we could pose a serious threat to australia and might even take the trophy home BUT WE MUST try out our newer players. australia are uneasy against the newer players(ishant sharma).

Just off form, c'mon. A bit harsh on your part. He's definitely more than a tail ender. I'm hoping he plays a super innings soon and shuts you up. :p

I would be more then happy if he did, but If I had to bet on it, I don't think he'll hit more then 60 runs in the match.

Well I'm glad that Hayden is in the side. I'm yet to catch the rest of the squad, last i heard Tait was hopeful he would be picked, but it was said unlikely. I hope he doesn't get picked, he played terrible last game. I believe in giving people chances, but I think he needs to go back to the drawing board and prove himself in state again. He was far too loose.

They might not have performed in Test but ODI is diffrent. Indian batting does not exite me even a bit. Tendulkar opening is likely to get 3-4 failures and that leaves nothing as backup. Our most success in ODI has come on back of strong batting by Yuvi and Dhoni. Frankly i dont see Dhoni making much here and Yuvi, well hes injured and even if he recovers will find hard to regain touch he had last year. Sri Lanka has got Malinga, Maharoof, Fernando and Vaas for fast bowling. I dont see anything wrong with that combination.

1.sehwag
2.dravid
3.laxman
4.sachin
5.ganguly
6.dhoni
7.pathan
8.kumble
9,harbhajan
10.rp singh
11.ishant sharma

Dravid opening is not a good idea. Not at all. Hes better at number 3. I will stick with same line up as Perth or maybe bring in Kartick for Jaffer. Harbhajan has only dismissed Ponting and apart from that hes no use. Sehwag can bowl off spin if required.

What happened with the kolkatta fans. Dhoni is not in the greatest form at the momment but his keeping is v good at the moment. Kartik is unlucky to be not playing after 1 poor series

Kolkatta is Football city and they make mayhem whenever Ganguly is involved. Nothing new. Expected result.

On Kartick issue. Hes luck to have played so far. There are so many players waiting in domestic cricket who are twice the player he is. Even if a backup keeper is required bring in Parthiv. He has outscored even the best batsmen in country for last 2 years.

Dravid opening with Sehwag is a slightly different story. That partnership is Sehwag's most prolific. Dravid opening is not the most ideal, but Dravid and Sehwag compliment each other. Meanwhile, Jaffer is by far the weak link, Pathan in one match out-performing his entire series.

But Sehwag is not a banker. The probability he will score more than 10 every time he bats is as much as rain in Thar desert.

true, that was just unpatriotic.so that means they just care about kolkata and not India.

Where the hell you all get this word Patriotic thing in cricket  I think you all don't even know what does Patriotic means :p What kolkata people did was the right thing. They just protest against the unfair thing that done with Sourav . Kolkata dont judge any cricket team they judge the sport .
