Clarke, get out! I want to see Gilchrist bat!!

And, when he gets out, I can sell that autograph I have of him lying around and pay off my College expenditures :D

Harbhajan doing nothing to justify his selection.Sehwag has got more purchase from this track than him.

I feel he is a spent force now.

I think it would have been a better option to go with the specialist bat. Karthik would have added at least 30 runs more then Pathan did opening, so it was kind of a waste :S.

Harbajan is in as a batter, maybe. :p

Harbajan only saving grace has been getting out Ponting. But didn't do that this match so hes proving to be worthless in the bowling.

Kumble has overbowled Bhajji. Sehwag has outbowled him. I cannot see why Kumble would replace sehwag, the wicket taker. Utter stupidity and he left Sharma way too late. I think Pathan should come in about 4-5 overs replacing Sharma.

:hpraise:hpraise:hpraise Sharma Sharma

Take 5 more in ten runs...

Geeze, you keep playing that World Cup card. Sure, it's a great achievement. But I don't see how you can compare personal achievements to team achievements. Theres not a stat option for "World Cup's won".

Ponting may have been in a team that had won three WC's, but Tendulkar has been the most successful batsman on that stage.

When you're taking in a players career into count, you have to include both, individual and team success, like it or not. Team success is also a part of a players cricketing career.

You can spin that anyway you like but those are the facts.

And even the Don said that the only batsman that batted with a similar prowess to his own was Tendulkar.

I really don't see what this has got to do with him being willing to trade his career for Tendulkar. It was an insane comment, and I don't see why you'd want to try and justify it.

Sharma has been a real find of the series.
I feel he must be preserved for tests and not be wasted in ODIs. We need him to keep up his pace because reverse swing at his pace could be devastating.

No, I feel Ishant at sometime or the other needs to play both forms of the game. That would make him a complete player. From ODI's, he has to learn the art of containment at his usual pace.

Okay. This is how we're going to do it.
Ishanth is going to get a hattrick at Roy's end. So, Roy, Hogg, and Lee are going to be back in the sheds. Johsnon will get a single.
498/8

Then, Irfan will take two in two, leaving Gilchrist not out, but India still in the lead

Sounds simple enough..
