I would prefer an in form Yuvraj over Rayudu. Or else Rahane back if Gambhir gets back into form.My batting lineup for the WC would be: Rahane, Dhawan, Rohit, Kohli, Rayudu, Raina, Dhoni
I would prefer an in form Yuvraj over Rayudu.
Or else Rahane back if Gambhir gets back into form.I did mention Yuvraj in there. He can go along with Rayudu in the squad.

Old Trafford is Anderson's home ground. He's a Burnley lad.Wow Anderson really got the full blast from the crowd there. All said and done, Anderson shouldn't really be getting booed in his own country, that too on his fav ground (perhaps even his home ground in County, I am not sure)

And booing is just part of what the crowds do at all sports here, it really isn't a big deal. I know in some cultures it is a massive insult, but it isn't to us.
That's because Nottingham has a large Asian population and, like I've said before, we don't care about ODIs like we care about Test matches.Booing itself it not an insult, just that it was happening in his own country. In India an India cricketer would never get booed. Unless he was in a really low rut or something, in which the Indian fans would be booing him and not the visiting team fans. The booing crowd was mostly India fans, and that just goes to show how dominant they were in the crowd, and that is why it will never happen in India. At any game, no crowd will ever outnumber the Indian fans and then boo Indian players.
That is what I meant, its odd that Eng fans are being outnumbered, and fans of visiting team shouldn't really be able to outnumber the home team crowd so significantly so as to make the booing of a home player significantly obvious.

We've already had the Ashes v the World Cup debate. I'm telling you, as England fans we would always -always - put winning the Ashes above winning the World Cup.Its odd that Eng don't care about ODIs, considering that all major trophies are in the ODI format. I am not taking anything away from the Tests, and that is the toughest format of cricket and also this ODI win doesn't take any sheen away from the fact that Ind were poor in tests, but, ODIs are also important as all major trophies are in the ODI format. I remember in the 90s Eng had stopped caring about cricket entirely as they wre not winning anything, but the Ashes win revived interest in tests, and perhaps if and when Eng win any major tournament, maybe they will realise that ODIs matter too.
I suppose its another discussion for another day, I guess.
