India tour of Australia Nov'20-Jan'21

The tail is wagging again.

The tail is wagging again.

Start again tomorrow morning Bigby. It's stumps.

Well well well, how the turns table :lol:spy! I am still not going to rejoice as we have the tail to clean up along with Green and these two have already batted 20 overs. Lets finish this up nice and professional boys! Going to go and see the highlights.

The tail is wagging again.

And this a tail of a big dog(historically the best ever test side) too. So expect some stubborn resistance.

Well, Paine's dismissal was unlucky. I remember VVS had a similar dismissal, so I feel we are even now :p. Ashwin is bowling really well and I feel he is going to clean up the tail tomorrow. We should be looking to score 100 runs which will not be easy. I hope the result is out by the time I sleep tonight!

What a day for India! We started off badly, not posting a 150+ lead but it also looked like Australia would make the most of good batting conditions. But we've bowled superbly to almost snatch an innings win here. Yes, there is still work to be done and yes there is still a chance that Australia could post a winning target, but we are still very much favorites here to win this test and lets also feel happy for it (stay in the moment philosophy).

I switched off after the second session thinking that Australia would post a big total, enough to bat India out. But the final session bowling surprised me when I woke up.

I would have liked to see Ashwin use the carrom ball a lot more, especially against Cummins. Now it will be interesting to see how we bowl with the new ball. Again, the pitch just feels like it is getting better and better so variation will be the key here.

Well, I have a bad feeling about this! Cummins and Green have been batting well. Already faced 30+ overs!

The thing is, we haven't bowled badly at all, and the fielding has been good as well. As I said in my last post, there is not much in this pitch that should trouble batsmen. We will definitely miss Umesh with the new ball because even though he can be wayward, he also has the ability to bowl a peach out of nowhere, just like how he bowled one to Burns yesterday.

Yupp, using the bouncer as a weapon against Cummins is always a back-up plan.

Green looks a solid player certainly way better than Mitch Marsh.
