India tour of Ireland (2 T20Is) & England (1 Test, 3 ODIs & 3 T20Is)

India have got just enough to keep England interested. I imagine they would be thinking it can be done. 378 is quite good but you never know what mood this England side will play with. Not ruling out an England win at the moment. India still ahead, marginally.

I think we have enough on the board if we are mindful. Aggression needs to be controlled. Just keep the ball in the right areas and expect it to do things on its own is the right way to go.

That full length ball at off-stump is doing some awkward things so bowling there could make it tough for England.

Already off to a flier - Eng will be finishing this easily tbh

I can already sense Bumrah panicking and trying too hard with those over cooked yorkers

Can we now talk about dropping, sorry, i mean "long-term resting" Kohli in all formats? Or do we need another year of poor form?
I feel as if this may already have happened if not for the struggles of the various incumbents. Gill is eleven Tests into his career without a ton, Hanuma Vihari averages a suboptimal 33, Pujara had been in awful recent form, Rahane has been dropped, Iyer has an obvious technical weakness against the short ball, and so on.

That said, I would absolutely drop him. Go for a side that's something like:
  1. :ind: :bat: Opener 1 (Rohit?)
  2. :ind: :bat: Opener 2 (Rahul?)
  3. :ind: :bat: Cheteshwar Pujara
  4. :ind: :bat: Hanuma Vihari
  5. :ind: :wk: Rishabh Pant
  6. :ind: :bat: Sarfaraz Khan
  7. :ind: :ar: Ravindra Jadeja
  8. :ind: :ar: Ravichandran Ashwin
  9. :ind: :bwl: Mohammad Shami
  10. :ind: :bwl: Jasprit Bumrah
  11. :ind: :bwl: Mohammad Siraj
Pant-Sarfaraz-Jadeja would be such an exciting middle order

It's happening. They have blazed away to 50. Ominous signs.

Another 20 runs .. and target is less than 300

this is bad !

David Boon approaching Rahul Dravid for some unofficial warning doesn't give good vibes. I hope things are sorted with that short conversation between the two.

Maybe England are up for revenge of that Chepauk chase by India 15 years down the line.

The people of Birmingham are going to get an excellent day's free entry tomorrow to watch YJB finish this off alongside the triumphant Crawley
