India tour of Ireland (2 T20Is) & England (1 Test, 3 ODIs & 3 T20Is)

I think India are easily get a 320+ leading considering they are already some 250 runs ahead. But it all depends for how long Pujara holds his end. If he bats out the session then we are going to have a huge lead with us.

Also Rishabh Pant seems much more determined in this innings @asprin . So it is less likely for him to throw away his wicket in this innings.

I heard Nasser Hussain saying that the conditions are going to warm up a little with the pitch drying out. There is already some unpredictable bounce that is visible thus far. So I feel Jadeja is going to turn up in the 4th innings.

I think India is already in a driver's seat unless they throw it away altogether.

This.

Which we are very at good at and remember against South Africa we failed to defend totals in the 4th innings.

I don't care enough about reverse jinxing. :)

You just need to have faith. India are past that 300 lead already and it looks they might add atleast 70 if not more.

At point did you tweaking think it was reverse jinxing?

I just stated what I thought , we have a history of throwing away games.

We just did that 7 months back in SA.

This really is setting the game up for a very fun fourth innings

I feel as if India probably have enough, but an unstoppable Zak Crawley 214 not out could really turn this around

India need to bat the 2nd session too.

Cool down!

I thought maybe you were saying that if I call this out as India being in driver's seat will result in India throwing it away.

Can't say about the Final Target but we must try to get as close to 400 as possible.

In a regular test match against a regular team, 360 odd in the fourth innings would be more than enough. But the Indian team would be extremely foolish to think that they are safe now. They need something in the range of 425 ish to really consider themselves "in a decent position"

They way this lineup destroyed NZ and the way Bairstow assaulted our bowlers in the first innings, I would be very wary of calling any score safe. The wicket is quite good still

Shami gone. I think England can chase 400 runs too.

Can we now talk about dropping, sorry, i mean "long-term resting" Kohli in all formats? Or do we need another year of poor form?
He should be dropped

378, Bairstow and Stokes would be licking their lips, can't forget Root too. Pretty much chasable.

It's England game now.
