India tour of Ireland (2 T20Is) & England (1 Test, 3 ODIs & 3 T20Is)

England marching on for a counter attack! 500 coming with double centuries from both Stokes and Bairstow!

18 overs unchanged from Shami here
He has got some great stamina. Also he has got enough time to refresh himself between this spell. So more like the fact that he has made some impressive numbers.

I remember once Dhoni bowled Bhuvi for 20 straight overs (not sure about the exact number of overs) in a game in 2014 series.

When you post these 90% times few of them are going to turn true. It's just random coincidence! :D
Result matters at the end of the day...

Sam billings and Jonny Bairstow both will score a Century for sure.

Bumrah should bring himself back and try to attack Bairstow on that fourth or fifth stump line where he was looking a bit muffled when he had that lil encounter with Kohli.

Shami would have been the better option here but the man has pumped 18 overs on the trot so let's given him a little respite.

Not Root, not Stokes but Jonny Bairstow is going to be the man who might trouble India in the one-off Test. From the recent New Zealand series, it's clear that he has been given the role similar to what Brendon McCullum had playing for New Zealand.
There you go...

Bairstow and Root with about 15 hundreds since Kohli's last.

Honestly it's glorious to see Bairstow finally break through and become the player everyone knew he could be. Also notable how much the last couple of coaches managed to mess him around

With his quick scoring, Bairstow has single handedly given England some chance of staying alive in the Test, even if it's a tiny one. If the deficit is trimmed down to two digits, they can expect a batting collapse and then go for the win. Easier said than done though. India still well ahead.

From India's standpoint they should try to keep the lead in three figures. It feels like a 2nd innings collapse is oncoming. Take out the last two wickets within 20-30 runs. Easier said than done here too.

I feel for him really. It must really be demoralizing to see everyone around you scoring centuries for fun. The dry run keeps getting longer.
