What an innings by Tendulkar! Amazing! I watched the highlights of the game, and an amazing innings by Sachin. He is still brilliant.

Sachin just played an amazing innings. Southee got slaughtered, Man I feel for him. UV's 6's were also a delight to watch, Absolutely murking them over midwicket. I just realised that all of our batsmen, maybe barring Gambhir, have the ability to explode with 6's. Sachin proved that he still has it in him. Really unlucky for him to have that injury because I really thought he had a chance to close in on Saeed Anwar's innings...

Overall for me Sachin = God :hpraise

Sachin Tendulkar ! The way he unleashed himself towards the end was great. Yuvraj played a blistering innings and was instrumental in the innings' acceleration. Still, it's always great to see Sachin playing like this. There's a different kind of attacking play. It's no longer coming down the track n whacking the fast bowler over the head kind of attack...his paddle sweep for six was immense. He hasn't really got the leverage and power that Yuvraj or Dhoni have but he knows his game. Great stuff.

If I could make one criticism of our batting performance it would be Gautam Gambhir. He looked so out of touch. He was missing pretty much every ball. He wasn't even building towards a big innings; he just couldn't get bat to ball. It was absolutely dreadful imo. I knew he was going to get out very soon when he was batting; it was just a matter of time. Hopefully he can set it right next match.

This was truly the best innings ever I have seen from the Little Master. He is of complete different class. I have recorded the highlights and Sachin played brilliantly and Yuvi is also in good. The best thing about this Indian side is that any one can turn out to be a match winner which is great. :hpraise Gambhir hasn't fired yet in this series so Kiwis he may come up with a ton. Our bowling was really poor. Praveen and Munaf both didnt bowl well and really Munaf should be given a break and give Irfan a chance he can bat better than Munaf and Bhajji for sure. Hoping for 4-0 whitewash..:happy

Yuvraj has had a good run since the England ODI Series, Hopefully he can carry it on for as long as possible. Dhoni is also turning into a brilliant ODI player too, An average of 49 is not easy to maintain after 130 odd ODI's...

Tendulkar really is a world apart, his innings kept me up all night/morning.

Just goes to show though NZ can chase down any target against us. I still think NZ would have won if it weren't for Ryder's no calls for running, Taylor's dumb run out, and Guptill's unofrtunate dismissal. Also goes to show that India's bowling is not as good as the members on the forums have made it out to be.
