That's a fair call and I agree. At least in tests. I don't think we stand a big chance though we get a lot of good practice against Australia and West Indies before it, so if some of our players find form and start making runs there may be a chance. There's a domestic season before then, may find some new talents.

Our ODI line up is pretty impressive though. Very well balanced ODI side. That should be a cracker of an ODI series.

The tests are being played at some nice places with nice grassy banks. It would be a good trip and a good place for a break.

It's been a long time since I've got to see India play New Zealand.

It should be interesting we unleash our pace trifecta of Zaheer, Ishant, and Sreesanth, with Bhaji as the spinner. Also, I think India should take a risk and drop Ganguly's replacement and play the extra bowler. Preffereable a spinned (either Ojha, Chawla, or Amit Mishra) or if the pitch is really really pace-friendly, go with the fourth pacer (Munaf or RP)

Off topic note: irottev, in your information it says that your national team is black craps. Is the R in there intentionally?

Isn't that a kinda obvious question....

How much longer do you want Badri to wait?!

Sure is. And it'll stay there until we stop putting up woeful performances again (or the coach goes)

Lol i only just realised that your name is vettori backwards

You're not the first either. Haha. I've heard that 2 or 3 other times. ;)

It was so random, it just came to me in the shower (literally).

For some odd reason I was thinking about a PC topic I had just posted in, and then started thinking, 'Why is his name irottev?' so I reversed it and had an epiphany lol

Back on topic, do you thinking that NZ has a realistic chance of winning a test? Considering how they've gone against BD...

It's a while away, but yeah, I think we do. India are losing a pretty good batsman in Ganguly. Their side on paper looks pretty special even without him though.

I can't see us being any worse then we are now with the Aussie and West Indies tests coming up as well as a domestic season. If players like Southee, Fulton, Franklin play well in domestic they could force places in the side. Should have Martin and Oram.

Home advantage should be a big thing, our batting won't be so woeful (at least you'd think) batting on home soil. I think this is the last series with Bracewell as coach.

YAY no more Bracewell!!!

Was it I thought his successor took over at the start of the Indian series.

Anyways what a glorious day it will be to be rid of that pathetic joke of a coach.

What are the chances of John wright taking over? I think he's just the man for the kiwis.

He doesn't seem to want to do it sadly. Some dude from Australia is aking over. Forgot his name. He's pretty young.
