Squads Annonced, Jaffer, Zaheer and Kumble added to ODI squad, South Africa to Carry on Old Squad

Zaheer Khan, Anil Kumble and Wasim Jaffer have been included in India's one-day side for the tour of South Africa, the five-match series starting on November 19. As expected, the national selection committee did not plump for new blood but reposed faith in the tried and tested while picking the 16-man squad.

India One-day squad

Virender Sehwag, Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid (capt), Wasim Jaffer, Mohammad Kaif, Suresh Raina, Dinesh Mongia, Mahendra Singh Dhoni (wk), Irfan Pathan, Dinesh Karthik, Zaheer Khan, Anil Kumble, S Sreesanth, Harbhajan Singh, Munaf Patel, Ajit Agarkar

South Africa have retained the 14-man squad that lost the Champions Trophy semi-final for the first of the five one-dayers against India. Graeme Smith, under fire for indifferent form and tactics, will continue as the skipper.

South Africa One-day squad

Graeme Smith (captain), Loots Bosman, Jacques Kallis, Herschelle Gibbs, AB de Villiers, Mark Boucher, Justin Kemp, Shaun Pollock, Robin Peterson, Andre Nel, Makhaya Ntini, Boeta Dippenaar, Andrew Hall, Charl Langeveldt.

P.S. Now its November 9th

Hope India play some good cricket in SA atleast here... ( disappointed with real match of 91 )!

This shd be a good practice game for India but the quality of SA's bowling would be more aggressive!

This is realistic ...Sehwag out due to injury ....going with 1 spinner on SA pitches is the wisest thing to do .

nah.... :) Kumble n Bhaji avgerages around 30 abroad with econmy of 4.2 and 3.5 which is far more bettr than fast bowlers! I m not saying as my view, Its Khris Srikanth's view on TV yestday... lol! :D

Also Unlucky Munaf to miss the practice game! But lets see if Zaheer does something extra ;)

Nice start, should be interesting to see whether India fare better in this tour than currently in real life.
