yeah, Superb presentation.. :hpraise

Indians bowling well too..... Prince is playing an steady innings but has to play some big shots now after well settled for 70+balls!

Rest of South Africa, 1st Innings

Rest of South Africa: 70/4
Overs: 40
Run Rate: 1.75
Last Wicket: N McKenzie b. Mongia 23 (44/3)

J Rudolph 0 (42)
A Prince* 41 (108)

D Mongia 1/13 in 10.0 Overs
Z Khan 2/15 in 10.0 Overs

The match seems to have reached its verdict now itself, Surely the Indians lack form, but making the current total does not seem to be very tough. Rest of South Africa have no hope of winning unless they pick the run rate, or pull out a miracle in bowling. The entire responsibility is on the shoulders of Prince and Rudolph, who need to sustain through the last 10 overs from Sreesanth and Pathan.

Prince has been deeply rooted now... Only 4 wickets is big worry for SA ..otherwise its a patient innings!

Top work again! :happy

Rest of South Africa, 1st Innings

Rest of South Africa: 124/7
Overs: 50
Run Rate: 2.48
Last Wicket: R Telemachus c. Kaif b. Pathan (89/7)

J Rudolph 26 (70)
A Thomas 18 (14)

I Pathan 2/26 in 10.0 Overs
S Sreesanth 2/44 in 10.0 Overs

The last 10 overs especially the late overs, were an absolute cracker. Prince went off at 41 when he tried to slog a ball from Sreesanth over Pathan, but he held on to it and managed to send the disappointed captain back to the pavilion. Sreesanth struck again when he took Van der Wath in a similar fashion. But this time it was Mongia who took the catch. It was 82/6. Pathan took away the attacking Telemachus, who tried to slog a straight drive over the boundary, but was a few inches short as kaif stood underneath and took the catch easily. The score was 89/7. However no more wickets fell, and then it was a shower of boundaries, Rudolph finally unleashed his talents and surprisingly Thomas assisted him with a useful 18 runs in only 14 balls.

Dismissed batsmans Innings

The run less partnership between Prince and Rudolph ended when sreesanth managed to provoke Prince to play the back foot on drive, which went straight to Pathan He was 9 runs short of a half-century.

Van der Wath didn?t last long, but he managed to send a few of Sreesanths bowl to the boundary. His 8 runs from 11 balls nevertheless helped the South Africans. He only had 2 fours to his name.

Telemachus didn?t play for long, but got out in the next over. He got a single, and in the 4th ball of his short innings, he tried to slog the ball straight back the bowler, but found Kaif at the boundary rope.

So, India require 125 runs in 50 overs at a run rate of 2.5 with 10 wickets remaining

India shd atleast win this ;) Top class work again :happy

good, atleast therez 1 thread where india is doing well...

India, 2nd Innings

India: 52/0
Rest of South Africa: 124/7
Overs: 10
Run Rate: 5.2
Required Run rate: 1.8
Last Wicket:

W Jaffer 27 (37)
S Tendulkar 22 (23)

R Telemachus 0/23 in 5.0 Overs
T Tshabalala 0/11 in 3.0 Overs

The Indian openers have gone off to a fiery start. Currently, they are cruising at a run rate of 5.2 per over. Wasim Jaffer had taken his duty with great responsibility and is ably assisting Tendulkar. The South African bowlers could do nothing to stop the onslaught, and considering the form, the batsmen are in, it seems as if the Indians are likely to achieve a 10 wicket win.
