Toss

Rest of South Africa won the toss and elected to bat first, it would be nice to see whether prince was right in his decision.

Rest of South Africa, 1st Innings

Rest of South Africa: 15/3
Overs: 10
Run Rate: 1.5
Last Wicket: H Amla c. Jaffer b. Khan 0 (6/3)

N McKenzie 10 (29)
A Prince* 2 (8)

Z Khan 2/8 in 5.0 Overs
I. Pathan 1/7 in 5.0 Overs

Dismissed batsmans Innings

Nothing much to be said about, all three batsmen went for a golden duck.

Vanwyk was the first to go. An attempted cover drive in the second ball of his innings went straight to Wasim Jaffer at cover.

Peterson was dismissed by Pathan in the next over. Peterson left a delivery which unfortunate for him clipped the offstump. Next time it would be better if he defended such balls.

Amla, who had been trying to get used to the pitch, was surprised by a short ball from pathan, which he hit with a mistimed back foot cover drive and he found Jaffer just like Vanwyk did. The South Africas ought to learn from others mistakes.

excellent pictures!!! great bowling by the indians!

wow how did you get the sky sport overlay and what stars you bowling on and are there any patches etc?

Yep great presentation! Just two questions, Where did you get the Sky Sports Overlay, and How did you get the line-up before the match?

knowing voldemort he probably made the overlay from scratch to suit the story and might not be part of the actual game. i agree though it looks great.

Voldemort good to c u bak with another story:)

3 wickets for india so far n all of them ducks...thats wut i wanna c in real life:p anyways keep it up

Don't be too glad. Voldy's gonna bowl for both teams, and he knows the Saffar bowlers better than India's ;)

Well your answer was answered by MWaugh, except for the fact that i didnt make it from scratch, i used holmies sky sports overlay from c2005, it isnt ingame. the games 5 star no AI patch. reason for wickets maybe that the batsmen were crap, and i was bowling swings and cutters at various speeds and lengths.

and zorax i said that to you on msn, i dont bat very realistically, so i just decided to bowl for both.

and for you pak_cricketer, i have a controller and a keyboard. so what i do is , i select both teams so that in the lineup selection screen i get to edit both before the game starts i change the controller back to the middle and bowl to CPU.

thanks to the rest

Rest of South Africa, 1st Innings

Rest of South Africa: 38/3
Overs: 20
Run Rate: 1.6
Last Wicket: H Amla c. Jaffer b. Khan 0 (6/3)

N McKenzie 22 (58)
A Prince* 12 (39)

S Sreesanth 0/9 in 5.0 Overs
A Kumble 0/14 in 5.0 Overs

The Rest of South Africa have managed to get past more overs without losing anymore wickets. Although it cannot be said as great batting as they haven?t put any runs on board as well. The last 10 overs were not that interesting except for a few fours and a huge six which soared high past kumbles head. So the scorecard after 20 overs.

LOve the overlay and the presentation is brilliant voldermort :clap
As for the batting well you certainly are causing them damage. 2 more wickets and you'll have em easy :)
Good stuff Voldy keep it up :cheers

This is what a practice game meant :) Batting practice is taking place atm ;)

Nice presentation! :clap

Rest of South Africa, 1st Innings

Rest of South Africa: 52/4
Overs: 30
Run Rate: 1.7
Last Wicket: N McKenzie b. Mongia 23 (44/3)

J Rudolph 0 (16)
A Prince* 25 (74)

D Mongia 1/2 in 5.0 Overs
A Kumble 0/26 in 10.0 Overs

The end of another one sided 10 overs. They have put up 14 runs, but have also lost McKenzie, who was having a good time in the middle. At the same time, Mongia had a great spell of 5 overs, which surprisingly included 4 maidens and a wicket. Unless the two batsmen on the crease, Rudolph and Prince score more runs, they can hardly trouble the opposition.

Dismissed batsmans Innings

McKenzie was playing well. He managed to escape from the balls of Kumble and Mongia, and add few runs to the total, but he didn?t remain lucky for long. When they were at 44/3, McKenzie lofted a shot from Mongia to Sreesanth, which he dropped without any loyalty towards his fellow teammate. However in the next ball, McKenzie ran out of all luck. He tried to hook the ball over the fielders, but missed and the ball hit the stumps.
